    This is a total scam. They call tell you they will lower your credit card interest rates and try to get your personal information and credit card numbers. Then they hang up on you. If you give it to them they will max them out. When they call I play along with them and then scream at them and they hang up. They leave automated messages on my answering machine all day long and fill it up. When I look them up it says they are in Atlanta, GA and if you try to call the number back it's always busy.

    There is a 470 area code for Georgia.

    Most of the time these credit rate scammers use spoofed CID, so when you call back it's disconnected or blocked or whatever.
    In this case, I do hope they are calling from Orlando, FL. Our SWAT teams have been raiding these CC-rate and Timeshare scam call centers almost weekly.
