" 909" area code fraud scams / fake calls and texts

Exact same phone number- texted regarding ad on Craigslist.

Look at this scam !! I responded to a  help wanted for a receptionist !

Hmmm. So Feed the Children is a plastic injection molding company. Must be connected to the Chinese melamine in infant formula and cat food scandals. They're the ones who killed my last cat.

It's rather hard to believe that a big charity like Save the Children would hire a Vice President who writes like a semi-literate Nigerian 409 scammer.

There are a lot of numbers out'der that try to scam people...I got this 415-275-0161 TODAY! Told me I was APPROVE for $2000 and just send $180 and funds will be available tomorrow...WATCH OUT! These SCAMMERS are all over the place. They get your info when you sign up for a Payloan online...your personal info then goes out all over the NET...Becareful...

Just got a call from 909-206-6922 saying they were going to process some paperwork and file it with my employer......if I didn't pay them immediately!  Do these people think we just fell off a turnup truck?  Yeah, sure let me get my credit card out and give you the number.

This is a new bunch of scammers using 909 area code.  Ignore them

HIT THE # BUTTON....10 OR MORE X'S...AND HOPEFULLY, THEY WON'T CALL AGAIN. BEEN DOING THIS FOR ALL CALLS...THAT I DON'T KNOW...AND....GL

WHEN THEY CALL....HIT THE #...AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN(10) OR MORE....IT WILL GET RID OF THE GARBAGE SCAMS..

Calling numbers on the DO NOT CALL LIST is ILLEGAL??  I have been on the DO NOT CALL LIST for as long as it has existed but I still get up to a half dozen calls per day.  

Last fall I had a message on my answering machine from ROBERT WITH THE FBI, wanting my husband to call him back.  THE AREA CODE WAS JAMAICA.  I called my local branch FBI who said they could not do anything about this call because it was from OUT OF THE COUNTRY??

909 307 4664. Text me wanted to buy my item on craigslist. He was out of town but his agent from moving company would pick it up. All I had to do was open a pay pal account and give him the info.

They call me every day, several times a day and no one is there.  If I try to call back, there is a "this number has been disconnected" recording.
