And you say nothing about the ways scammers get Social Security numbers, records of loans in the past, health records, information from hacked websites.

You're not understanding the whois information in your post. This is what you see when the customer chooses to hide their registration information when they register the domain name. When they choose to hide their information (private registration), the information is defaulted to domainsbyproxy or some other name - usually the business that is completing the domain registration.

If you identify a scammer, I believe you can report them to internic and they should pull the domain registration.

1) You are replying to a post DaFox made nearly 3 years ago.
2) If you read the first two lines of his post, it is obvious that he is quite aware of what domainsbyproxy is used for.

Yep I checked out your link that you posted, The problem seems to be is that the crap of selling debts is allowed, bet if there was a big nice stiff fine for selling such debts to start with, the problem would dry up rather quick!!!

Yeah all the companies are listed, I may have to put all their information up here for everyone to see and that will make it easier for them to be sued.

Probably a website owned by a business with very very few employees.
Or a website owned by a business that has multiple website versions that all access the same database.
And the business probably has very few employees so they are always behind on removing inaccurate information.
Have your lawyer notify Domains By Proxy to release the business information of that website to your lawyer so your lawyer can send a demand for correction.

I think these "public record" websites should have to expose ALL of their business information to the public, and their WHOIS information should also not hide behind a proxy. Why should they have information about us but we don't have information about them?
