Lottery Verification Vermin
- lone stranger| 1 replySomeone posting as "Lottery Verification" is spamming threads trying to convince people that the fake lottery is legitimate, and providing an email to contact in order to get your winnings.
This exact post has been cut-and-pasted here before. I'd ignore it except that I think this trick works on those who are ignorant, naive, or desperate enough to be vulnerable.
Amazingly, one of the posts is in response to an article about someone losing every penny to these
crooks.
I notice that these scammers almost always use @live email addresses. Perhaps posts containing an @live email address ought to be dealt with in some automated fashion? I can't see any compelling legitimate use for such an email address on the site.

I thought we drove Bulletin Board Systems away. Apparently he has returned under the name Lottery Verification. - C replies to not MichaelYet another alias for the serial spammer perhaps? I wouldn't at all be surprised if that were the case.
If it's your imagination then it's a shared one. Each of this "Lottery Verification's" posts do seem at least pretty much identical to those by "Bulletin Board System". - yefYes - I remembered these spam posts but didn't remember the posting ID. I caught one of them before going to sleep last night, and I wake up to this! He's been a busy little scammer overnight... except it probably was daytime in whatever festering cesspool he calls home. I have to agree with Lone Stranger... if I received such an idiotic message I'd never respond. However there continue to be soooo many gullible people on this site that post the same "I got a massage, where I claim prize" message that I think a reply just like LS's is in order.
