Although I don't agree with the collections tactics, they are real debt collectors for payday loans. They can be nice if your nice to them.  Here is their physical address:

Any operation that uses a police threat is not all that legitimate to me. My issue with these operations is when they call outdated numbers.

Sounds more like flagrant and deliberate FDCPA violations to me and no wonder they are in trouble. So I don't buy "they can be real nice" if your nice to them.

they are not calling you for no reason. The companies they are trying to collect for, decide whether or not they go forward with suing you in small claims court. I asked them in a calm tone, after they mentioned the "prosecution, arrest" thing, who the original creditor was. They do validate the debt.
Again, their approach is wrong and if you know your states rights, you KNOW they cannot arrest you. Just talk to them and have them validate the debt.

Really? Well I have been issued phone numbers and ended up with calls from collection agencies looking for people I never heard of. So much for your theory.

They don't call me! And I'm fully aware of the FDCPA laws. Validation via US mail, not email, fax or phone.  And they can be sued for threatening people with arrest and ending up owing much more then the original debt.  Their approach is illegal period!

the reason is they will not use the US Mail if they do the postal inspectors will get them the inspectors are very good catching fraud using the mail thats why they will use fed ex ups and courier services
