Maybe they'll go bankrupt and not be able to pay their bills. Then their creditors can sell the debt to "Mediation Services" and they can see what it's like on the "other side." Wouldn't it be wonderful?!
In my late BIL's case, it was their failure to respond to documentation requests to support a 1099-C that also got them into hot water with the IRS.
They are beneath contempt.
That kind of stuff is too low in value. The lawyers for Mejia go after the bank accounts and get the money, same way the business goes after the victims of their lawsuits.
I was going more for the effect than monetary value. Kind of hard to call and harass if you don't have computers and phones.
