This is one of the funniest things I have ever heard! Tears are still streaming down my face.

Clearly, it was an actor portraying a telemarketer.  His cadence, pauses where in rhythm with the Tom Mabe character.

Anybody else would have either hung up or said that the phone call was being recorded.

Yo! This is the funniest thing Ive heard in a long time! My Mom use to be a child care worker with a daycare in the home. When she got a collector or telemarketer on the phone, she would hand the phone to the nearest three year old, but this was WAY better. Thanks for the good laugh!

Just had minor surgery and needed a good laugh.  This one did the trick!  It was so funny I almost can't believe it's for real, but even if not - it was worth the chuckles!!

This is mad jokes i have a good one if you don't want those bill colectors calling your house and they are looking for you. You can say " No he/she doesn't live here if you see he/she you tell him or her that they f**king owe me money and don't f**king call here again lol my bf told me to do that and so i did and they never called back again. sorry about the language.

That was great - absolutely hilarious!!!

google FDCPA which will give you information about Debt Collectors and possibly telemarketers;  and the Federal Consumer Protection Law.

You can usually find a Cease and Desist letter on the internet to send a Debt Collector - Collection Agency after they send you a statement.  If you receive a letter from an Attorney out of your residential state - you can send them the same Cease & Desist letter.  Just make sure that Attorney Firm doesn't have a Firm in your state.  An out of state Attorney can NOT sue YOU!!!

Education is Power - learn your rights!  I've been fighting a lawsuit without an Attorney with Citibank.  I won a dismissal with prejudice in Oct. 2007.  The Attorney has since got that reversed - so now we go to a Jury Trial in June 2008.  They violated Federal Fair Credit Billing Act Laws, which I will have to educate our Judge and Jury - but we've got a good chance to win again.

For those of you who believe in God - we could use your prayers though!!!

Beautiful! This is 100 times funnier than anything I've ever tried :-)

It amazes me how people will sit and listen to a telemarketer while waiting for thier turn to speak.  This is a clasic example to remind us that it's OUR phone and to say whatever we want.  The telemarketer is not being polite by calling us, so why should we be polite in listening.  Take charge of the conversation right away and say what you must to get your point across.  This stunt is a perfect example of what you can do when you take charge of the call to your home...on your phone line...and on your time.  You pay the bill, so entertain yourself if you want, but take charge of the conversation the second you know it's a telemarketer.
