Yes this is funny but unfortunately will not work on computer generated calls and if you contact the number they will just hang up and keep their robot calling you. Telemarketers are smarter than law enforcement. They don't fall for jokes like this.

I am developing a technology to eliminate telemarketers, phone collection agency callers, etc. My webpage is www.authorsden.com/rockie. I will soon put this on my list of inventions there that I want to develop. Please consider a donation to help me to get this research and development off of the ground. I have already received threatening calls concerning this. My email address is roadrunner.jones@gmail.com if you would like to contact me concerning this breakthrough. it is based on sound scientific principles and can used when perfected to identify, infiltrate and eliminate many troublesome or undesirable people or enterprises. I too receive many calls from this and collectors, so I am anxious to see this project through, but my credit has been ruined as a result of these same vultures and many other blood sucking vampires. Please help me to help you to stop these vermin once and for all. Most people would gladly pay if they could, even if just a dollar a month, if there was a law to allow them to, until they got back on there feet again, but it takes money even to go bankrupt. I suppose Jesus foresaw this problem when he told his disciples, "The poor will be with you always."

I'm glad that you feel that way.  Now maybe you understand how annoying it is for the general public to be disturbed by these unwanted phone calls.  As the saying goes, "turnabout is fair play".

    lovin it
you call and harass me, i'll harass you back.

    fair play.

it's not possible to harass a telemarketer enough to make up for all the people that they harass.

if they had to tell you their HOME phone number at the beginning of EACH call, it would change the way these things are done.

not their company phone number, not the office number, their REAL home phone number.
hey, they have MY home number, they can give me theirs.

Tom Mabe did nothing illegal as a bunch of states do not require second party notification to record phone conversations.

I couldn't stop laughing myself...but that is nice of you to be courteous to some telemarketers because they are after all just doing their job. I am a salesperson myself who deals with strangers a lot so I appreciate people like you, but some of us really need something like this.

I'm sorry to pop your bubble, but we make a lot more than you make in a week. Telemarketers make from 500-2000 dollars per week just calling you people, that's the easiest job there is that pays so good. Why would we feel bad about calling people like you? You guys are the ones that buy stuff from companies that sell your information. That's the only way you get us to call you. Your phone number costs about a dollar. I've never had a telemarketer ever call me because I actually don't buy stupid [***] off the internet or over the TV. And one last thing, a telemarketing supervisor makes about 3000-4000 dollars a week. That's more money than a lawyer makes per year! And all they do is walk around and yell lol. And people like that man on the phone that was messing with the telemarketer, that's entertainment to me. It does get boring sitting in front of a computer talking all day, so usually that's our entertainment (: so you guys can hate on us, but while your doing that, were out here making thousands.

and this video was hilarious, I completely loved it!!!!

I love the Tom Mabe carpet cleaner caller.  Tom explains how he needs his carpet cleaned IMMEDIATELY and that there's a huge (blood) stain on it.  He goes on to tell the salesguy how he need a cleaner NOW.  It was hilarious.

Too bad you have to listen to Boob and Lame to hear it.  They lasted about 10 minutes in syndication.

Shelia Hunt, Nurse Ratched, MC 'doctor' idiot, come down off of your flagpole perch with the small people and laugh once in a while.  It was obvious the guy was an actor; any serious telemarketer would have hung up.  If it did really happen even better.

If... I ever need a good lawyer I definatly won't use any of the ones you know... Hey!... Grt some facts about how much lawers make in a year, then get your bottom-sucking lips to speaking the truth for a change. Apparently you've told so many lies over the span of your career, as a tele-marketer...you really wouldn't know it if it kicked you in your donut exspulser! Get a life or go back to your desert and bomb-making!!

Hey ex instead of trying to get two bits, you're still trying to sell something...your poor 'ol pitiful feelings for one bit! How hard do you think it is to do your job when somebody, (telemarketers) are calling during your work hours?
Try this shoe..: Where do you think your two children would be right now, if an inconsiderate, sorry-@@@ed, non-motivated, scared to get their hands dirty, telemarketer, was calling you during your work hours!?
Go figure... all you can do is hide behind your "phone-block" and your cubicle walls!
All in all here's another thought for your direct dialing @@@: I'll bet you've never wondered what could happen in your safe little world if people knew your work address, like they do the Post-Offices!!!

I've actually worked as both (telemarketer and lawyer).  I made FAR more as a lowly legal intern than I ever did as a telemarketer. (About double, in fact.)  As a telemarketer, you get paid minimum wage, maybe a little more if you're lucky, and you have to take abuse all day.  No thanks.  And I don't know what telemarketing company YOU work/ed for, but I'll bet that if you were making $1,000 a week, they're probably broke by now.

A word of caution to those who wish to abuse telemarketers: I agree they are annoying and i also agree that they're just trying to pay their bills like all of us but without resorting to living off welfare. (I've had welfare coming in for almost twenty years due to some health setbacks. I'm very much ashamed of the fact that I have not been able to supoport myself entirely without welfare. I've had jobs and been to college but still can't get off of it entirely.)

Now the word of caution: My sister was a tmktr and she called once feeling down. i yelled at the person not realizing it was her and to this day I feel like absolute [***].

Be nice to everyone even if you don't THINK you know them. They're ALL humans. (Even the ones that AREN'T.)
