    The ones I have trust issues with are the phone companies. The calls from the spammers and scammers come up as “Unknown Caller” but obviously they know who to send the phone bills to.

    It would be impossible for anyone to call you from that number since it cannot exist in the North American Numbering Plan. So it must have been spoofed and I don't think that a legitimate company would be spoofing numbers.
