GETAT LEST 10 2 15 CALL LIKE THIS EVER DAY ON LAND LINE AS WELL AS CELL - capt crash000-000-0000, called three times a day all this week, finally I answered it and addressed me by my last name Mr. XXXXXXX, I asked who's calling?
They indicated they were from the Florida Fraternal Order of Police.....I said bullsh*t, why the F**k are you masking your number morons. Blocked the number.
A lot of people on here are stating it is a spoof card and being pranked by someone they know....MIGHT be the case, but it is NOT.
This is a new "loop-hole" for telemarketers and solicitors to mask their number so they are not identified so we do not know immediately who they are and keep reporting them to the BBB and "DO NOT CALL" list (which is a joke in the first place).
It is just another way to hide their number like the Private, Anonymous, Unavailable, etc.- Caller: ?

- NotStupidI've been getting 5-7 calls per day, every day, from this phone number. The caller ID changes somewhat every time, and though I usually don't answer, the two times I did answer they asked for someone I am related to but who does not live in my home. I continue to answer, "wrong number." The caller has a very heavy middle eastern or Indian/Paktstani accent.
The called ID starts with a V - for example, the latest one said:
V12011718010010
From what I've learned by examining the caller ID's, they change with the date - that last call was made on Dec.1 (12/01).... the time was 5:18 pm (17:18)... the final numbers change, but don't make any sense yet. So - the initial V begins the caller ID, then the date and time, then a number series that has been : 10010, 70010, 20010, 00010, 08010 for the last 5 phone calls my caller ID displays. - janaJust received a call from 000-000-0000...for th 2nd time today. Decided to answer and man with an accent asks me about my neighbors, whom he mentioned by name and address. I pretended to have an accent thicker than his and play dumb. He said something about a delivery but I wasn't buying it-he eventually got frustrated with my inability to communicate and hung up.

- JenA lot of you are commenting on "they are calling my unlisted number". Well, phone numbers are just a series of numbers and you can start with an area code and work from there until someone answers the phone! it's not personal, it's business and they will go to any lengths to get yours. It does not matter if you have an "unlisted" number because they don't set aside secret numbers for people who will pay more for it. That is a waste of money. Instead, pay for caller id and call blocking and DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!

- Seriously? replies to KNIt's not just on landlines, dear. I don't have a landline, I only have a cell phone. I've been getting international calls as well as this 000 number, and out of state calls, all from numbers I don't recognize. Of course I don't answer them, but still.

- Fed up!!!Seems to me that the calls I have been getting all lead to the same thing. SCAMMERS!!!! I don't answer these calls and figured that if I don't answer that they would eventually stop calling. It definitely is not working. Although the calls are less frequent!! Hope the new year brings these losers their just reward!!

- random replies to AddieI am not sure if its true but my friend said that when an all zero number calls you that its someone that can get all ur info from ur cell when you pick up so don't pick up the phone just incase
- Random replies to CaseyThat's why they quit calling you, your never suppose to answer for this number its a scam they get all ur info when you answer
- Too smartThe number is not the problem....it is a curtain for unscrupulous companies. Just either block the number or DO NOT ANSWER or play them for all its worth. The most recent call from that number claimed that I have a virus on my computer and wanted me to to a web site Amy.com. Obviously I did not and just played along until I go bored.
