000-000-0000

Well, it appears legitimate companies also use this number. I just got a call from it and didn't answer, it was Mid American Energy. The number on my caller id was 1-000-000-000.

I had just contacted them to set up payment arrangements and the lady I was talking to was looking up the number for my local energy assistance program. The representative's computer froze so she offered to call me back when she re-booted. She did call back, I didn't answer and she left a voice mail. That was the only call I had during that time so I know it was them.

Pretty sure it's somebody from Mars.  I didn't pick up because they can fry your brain right through the phone receiver.

I have been getting calls from this number they are saying i'm having problems with my computer.  I have asked this so called company to please stop calling.

Well, if nothing else, I am now finding this site entertaining, especially with comments like yours.
I have changed my 'phone number. They'll eventually find it, I guess but meanwhile, for 3 whole days!! - no calls. Last Thursday, I was home, they rang 3 times/hour, every hour from 11am until I finally answered them at 5.57pm. Told him I was just the cleaner, that confused him, broke his thought/training process.
I was also getting to the stage of making up stories to counter their incredible stories. You can have some fun with this as long as you're not paying for the calls. (We're not, are we?)
I gave them some slight abuse and the calls got heavier. Seems they've got a set of buttons to press - ring that one now 100 times/day - she told me off!
There's always a way to turn a negative to a positive.

Got a call from a 000-000-0000 on my cell. When I answered it an automated voice came on and told me that my phone has now been verified and then hung up?! Haven't been called again but I am worried this could have done something to my phone?! Aarrggghhh!

I just received a call from 000-000-0000 claiming to be a representatif  from microsoft this is pure scam. How can a stop to this be done? It is an evasion of ones privacy this is not tolerable.

I, too, regularly receive unwanted '00' calls.  One solution in the UK for dealing with calls of this nature is to dial 1477 afterwards.  This automatically logs the last incoming number on your telephone with the police who will treat it as a menacing call.  You don't need to do anything else as they (the police) will deal with the caller directly.  This has saved me tons of inconvenience and annoying calls.

I have been getting calls from this number all week and all week I have said to stop calling me. Now the guy calls over and over to tell me he loves me and I drive him crazy. He's driving  me nuts

I've had this number calling my cell phone every twenty-sixty minutes for the past several days. I answerred three times (on accident) and got nothing but ear-splitting, loud, high pitched static. I eventually saved the number to my contacts for easy call blocking (under the name Slender Man [jokingly], since the static reminds me of the game Slender), but the block did not work. I'm still getting harassed by this number. I've even logged into my Verizon account and blocked communications with the number there, and called Verizon customer service, and even gone into the store itself. Try as they might, I've gotten no successful help. They said I can't change my number again without a charge (which I can't afford; my old number was changed due to sexually harassing calls and texts), so I'm at a loss for what to do.

This number left me a voicemail saying it was family video. Its obviously a scam.

I heard a few rumors about Bell Canada selling their customer list to their outsourcing company in India. Well I recently fired Bell (completely useless company) and went with Rogers. Bell is still contacting me to come back.. I finally got it through their head that im not going back.. With in 45 mins I started getting calls from 1-000-000-0000... Conicidence?

This number left a message stating our MasterCard had been stolen.  Press one for an agent to help you.  1. We don't have a MasterCard and 2. The number that was called is not one we use for any business transaction.Obvious a fraud scam!

I just got a call from 000-000? And it was a woman said hello twice then hung up

Came home and had a message asking for me by first and last name. Caller was a woman with a slight accent, said Hello, this is Catherine Johnson, I'd like to speak to Jane and my last name. Then pause and then say's Hello? and hangs up. I have no idea who it was. The caller ID said Name Unavailable and number was 000-000-0000. I wouldn't have answered if I was home without a name & number attached to the caller ID.

I have blocked that no. on my phone, but they still call 5 times a day!!!

Really....it is very annoying...they call 5 times a day and I have them on my "Block Callers List", but the damn phone still rings a half a ring then disconnects!!!! I NEVER answer them!!!

got a call today. i answered and hung up immediately. just for the heck of it, brought up number on call display and called it. a male answered with 'hello, this is the operator', no phone company id or nothing.

I keep recieving this on my home phone.How is it possible for anyone to have this as phone numbers?

This number call my home every day I want to know which n why I am on the national no call list. They call n say I don't need ur friendship n ect
