I got a call this evening at 10:50 (which is unusual in itself), from the 000-000-0000 number and then they left a message. I don't want to listen to it, though. They haven't called back since, but that's just weird... And slightly creepy, I think.

I have never stepped foot in Blockbuster, and I owe no one a single cent!   I never answer this number when caller ID displays it.  Too bad the phone company does nothing to prevent this.

I got a call from this number the other night and they told me they were calling from JP Morgan and my Mastercard was locked.  I don't even HAVE a Mastercard.  I hung up and blocked their number from my cell phone.

Got the call from 000-000-0000 at 7:30 this morning on my work cell saying my Chase card had been frozen and press 1 to reactivate.  My son and daughter got the same call today.  Called the wife, she called the credit card company to report.  They have a blurb on their website to beware of suspicious phishing phone calls.  This is the first time this has happened but it's pretty obvious they got ahold of all of my families cell phone numbers

I got this call at 12:04AM on 01/23/13 from 0000000000 and let it go to vm. The vm recording said "This is JP Morgan Chase, your master has been locked, press 1 to" and disconnected. Obvious scam

I get messages from this number several times a day EVERY day on my cellphone, they are for someone named Phyllis Ward who I have never heard of.   If answer the call, I get a pre-corded message from someone saying she has paperwork to deliver to Ms. Ward and needs an address.  I have called the call back number several times and asked to have my cellphone removed and they say will do that but never do.  VERY FRUSTRATED and ANGRY as my cell phone provider says they are unable to block the number

"they" called my home landline 3x in November, 2 x in December and yesterday's call was the second for January.  "they" didn't leave a message, so I don't know if it's the research company or the debt collector or Chase or JP Morgan.  Will definitely block this number on my phone...

000-000-0000 has called me twice and left me two voicemails about supposedly act on my discovery credit card or it will be freeze, it's funny because I don't even have a credit card to begin with. I don't know how they got my number because I'm very secretive about given my number to just anyone. I only allow certain people to have my number, unless my cell number was a recycled number to began with. If that's then, I guess Fml!

Mine was from our mortgage co.  In my most mature way I yelled at the recording (!) and hung up.  We are on the do not call list for all our #'s.

We've been receiving many calls a day from an unknown source showing on caller id as 000-000-0000. The caller never leaves a message on our answering machine but calls repeatedly throughout the day and evening.  Our ATT call block feature is ineffective at blocking this caller. We have all phones registered on Federal do-not-call list. We have never done business with any company or called or contacted anyone with this phone number.

THIS "000-000-000" COMES FROM MANY DIFFERENT STATES AND MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND ARE NOT CONNECTED WITH EACH OTHER. THEY ARE PRIMARILY SCAMS AND BILL COLLECTORS.

ANYONE WHO SEE THIS NUMBER ON THEIR ID AND ANSWERS IT, IS LOOKING FOR TROUBLE. ONCE IT'S CONFIRMED THAT SOMEONE LIVES AT YOUR NUMBER, THE FUN BEGINS...FOR THEM.

I'VE HAD THIS NUMBER BLOCKED FOR SEVERAL YEARS, BUT IT STILL SHOWS UP ON THE CALLER ID WITHOUT THE PHONE RINGING. NOTHING BEATS CALL BLOCKING FOR PEACE AND QUIET.

Hi, I don't know why we have all posted  pages worth to this number but here I am to add two cents and of course not have an answer which in my humble opinion, there sure as heck should be.  Powerless in America...

At any rate same thing here.  I just received a call from all zero's not with the hyphens but the right amount of zero's and I haven't rented any movies for a really long time and don't have any bills in arrears or anything.  I don't even know that many people where I moved to yet too so it was kindof surprising to get any calls at the moment.

I also agree with not answering any call that doesn't have a real live phone number and/or name along with that, especially for all you gals but any of us.  If they are on the up and up they SHOULD show their real phone number and name!
