- anthony replies to Ticked offi get this number everymonth... but i know it is gmac calling for their car payment..
- ChrisThese are actually what they refer to a trunk line / When a company has many lines they set up a single or multiple numbers to be displayed. If they do not set them up or fail to do so properly the number will show as 000-000-0000 / Some legitimate companies have this as well as many that are just solicitors. I just let them go to voicemail and then determine who they are.

- SteffanyeWe've been getting phone calls from the same number. It's very suspicious reading all these posts and having it happen to so many people. My question is why would a bunch of people be calling people at random hours and then not talking? I mean its not that fun. They must be doing something. Did any of you experience internet trouble at all. Because on my computer a lot of weird stuff has been going on, and it started with that phone call, which i didnt answer, but im still worried they're hacking into something.
- Big Joe replies to missy"Equafax"....your phone company must have requested your credit report form them.....so your new number will be send over to "Equafax"....

- AndieI get a call from this number, 1-000-000-0000 everyday along with one from Bismark ND 701-221-2212. Each of the calls leave a message on the answering machine. They ask for one of the people that live here - and keep saying "hello" and then finally hang up. I decided that eventually these people would tire of leaving stupid messages on my machine - but 3 weeks later I am still getting the calls. I am on the "Do Not Call List" and it doesn't seem to be a telemarketer or professional call!
- Caller: Unknown/Bismark, ND
- Josephgmac calling for a payment that had already been met.the woman was named gracie called me at 8:01 and woke me up,since they want to spoof who they really are the next time I buy a vehicle I will not buy a G.M product then call them and see how they like that and tell them why.

- lou's keeperI get these calls from an online scam company. They are an online pay day loan company. I was loaned 200.00. I was going to give them one time to let let me pay just the interest just once. I tried to call their costumer care number, and got sent to an automated voice that left me on hold, then said they were too busy and to try later. 4 more tries later I got the same. I never got through. I tried so many times and just gave up. By that time the took a second interest payment. I closed my account to keep them from getting any more money. Now they call say you can give you the original 200.00 and we will be done. But no they wouldn't settle for less than 400.00, and wouldn't budge from 200.00, I mean come on, they already got 150 dollars even though I borrowed 200.00. Now 400.00, no way. That would equal 550.00 on a 200.00 loan. They are a foreign company, they cannot press charges, nor garnish wages, or they would have by now. It has been 9 months ago. There are also others on blogs on the web.

- Gracie Mitchell replies to jess| 1 replyI got that same call about the cruise today from 000 000 0000...i answered all of the questions and they said they are calling me back in about two days with confirmation of my "cruise". Is this legit?
- LL replies to FLR| 2 repliesOkay, pretty sure that I am not liking the reality of these messages which I already knew but I recieved call from 000 000 0000, it was a survey to win some cruise. As I went through the survey, the questions seemed pretty inocent. However, a couple of them now that I think back at the questions I am very uncomfortable about answering them. As in my postal code, (not address) and if I am a homeowner...have you have heard of deed stealing..? I've received calls from this number before never bothered to pick up, don't know what was wrong with me this time. ONE MESSAGE TO ALL..pretty sure not the feds, if they are watching you they do not call you at home and pretend they are someone from Bell Canada or a survey to win a cruise but there has to be an motive behind these calls none of which are any good....don't pick up the phone don't answer any more questions. DEFINETLY do not give out bank account or credit card numbers to anyone over the phone. Live and learn. I know I learned a powerful leason tonight, if it dosen't feel right hang up, follow your instincts and you will never get burnt...
- LLIt was a call to say that by answering certain questions (genralized) then I could win a Bahamas cruise for two...the most personal the questions got were to ask postal code, if I had kids, and if I was a homeowner. Other then that they told me that someone would call me to confirm in a couple days. A live operator came on and asked me my name for boarding purposes. Now I am freaked out! Normally, I would not do something so stupid, don't really know what I was thinking tonight.

- Amazing SteveAfter 6 months of twice a day from 000-000-0000, Last Tuesday I picked up...
"Good afternoon, RCMP Counter Terrorism and Intelligence Unit. SGT. Wallace speaking, the line is secure. You may now voice print ident to proceed."
Silence, then frantic speaking in the background, the line goes dead. Haven't received a call since then. I suspect that I won't hear back because I doubt very much that they'd tempt fate by trying a number again that may or may not be attached to some sort of high security facility that shouldn't be messed with.
