well....I just got a call from this 000-000-0000 number today. It was the same old Indian hard to understand guy. He said hackers are trying to get into my computer. I listen for a few minute just to let hiM go on and on. So he wanted me to turn on my computer so he could help me protect my computer from the hackers. So he told me to turn my computer on. And I told him "why so YOU can Steal my [***]?" Then I hung up. I've also had other calls saying I've qualified for $5000.00 of free money that I don't have to pay back. Then another time they said I owed back taxes, which I knew was not true, and the caller ID said Washington DC so at first it scared me. But then he said I owed $ 2500 and that he was gonna have a deputy in my driveway the next morning to arrest me. Who are these people? And do people really fall for these scams?

Called landline. Left no message. CID displayed Unknown Name. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call. Why would I answer any call from someone hiding their identity.......to me a sure sign of a CRIMINAL calling my home. Call ignored. These callers are looking to victimize people, get personal information to profit from and part you from your money. Obviously this works for them or there would not be so many of these calls.

Are You A Reading Failure? replies to Jim
I'm guessing you have poor reading comprehension since this thread is clearly marked for calls from all zeros.  Do not post where ever you feel like because it is too much trouble to find the right thread.  Post reported for being in the wrong thread.
