- max brand replies to SickofitI too am with Qwest & today 8/31/2007 got a call from 000-000-0001 & there was no one there after the third ring. If it hadn't been dark at the time I wouln't have answered.
- prey| 3 repliesIt seems like vulchers are after me. Do you suppose these people get paid to annoy us? I don't understand how an area code + phone # can be zeros.. I got the call a few mins. ago, but didn't answer. There was no message..I am with Qwest, and I didn't think this type of call is supposed to get through to me,,SECURITY SCREEN.I am going to contact Qwest, and ask them. Do you suppose it could be a phone card? My stepson uses a card, but Qwest requires a valid #. So his calls actually show up with my name & #.I'll let you know what Qwest says.it just isn't fair, that we can't return the call to these people, and tell them what we think.

- hgn replies to preyThis number "000-000-0001 security screen" calls me daily since about two or three weeks. I answered it once, and no one said a word. I do not answer anymore, and no one leaves a message. This daily call is turning into harrassment. My phone company is QWEST, my phone is actually an AT+T phone. Is there nothing we can do about it???
- hgnTHIS IS A COMPLAINT.
I receive calls from 000-000-0001 on a daily basis, usually around 3:45 MST. This has been going on for weeks.
I am with QWEST.- Caller: not shown
- st| 2 repliesI own a sprint phone and I just missed a call from that number. I don't pick up any number I don't know, but 000 area code I had to look up. Glad I wasn't the only one who got it. Hope it doesn't call again
- LauraI am with Qwest and at 10:59 AM CT I got a call from this unknown number and there is no way to necessarily trace it and though I didn't pick up this time there was no message, but this has happened on and off for years. Sometimes it will be as late as 2-3 AM CT. This is ridiculous!!! I thought that it was someone who had been stalking me for the longest time, but now that I read this it might be otherwise.

- jmorbid replies to Sickofit| 2 repliesi got a text from 000 111 4444 asking me to go to some site and stuff but thats not the point of this reply. my thoery is that the 000 numbers are either telemarketers or scammers. the reason for the 0's is because i dont think telemarketers have numbers as it is just calling from a computer and dont know how to use a number cover up (just got a call from a private caller as i was typing O_o either was or was pretending to be dish network. telling me about their advantages and whatnot and i just hung up). i dont know why the people are calling but thats just an idea.
- irrated replies to st| 1 replyI'm NOT with Qwest so I have NO idea why they are calling my cell phone!
- SeanI received a call from 000-000-0001 today at 1530 PHX time. I am a sprint customer, and this call was made to my cell phone. I did not answer, as I did not recognize the number, and no message was left. When I attempted to call the number back, I received a message saying the number or code I had dialed was not valid.
- me| 6 repliesIt is interesting how I did not get any 1-000-000-0001 calls, until AFTER I blocked UNKNOWN/PRIVATE calls.

- Merchant Provider replies to me| 1 replyIf you would like to no longer receive this call, please call 949-861-4000 option 1 for customer service...
We are here to offer consulting on your credit card processing, not to sell you new processing. We have found that most merchants do not understand how to read their statements and we are here to teach them that. We do offer processing if you are being over-charged, but that is not what we come see you. - BrownA man called me and said he was from Microsoft and that 'malicious code' had been detected on my computer. Wanted me to do loads of stuff with my computer including removal of anti-virus and disabling of firewall. Also wanted my IP. I'm not stupid and told him he has no reason for needing any of this information. He started yelling so I hung up.
