This number is repeatly on my bill.  What is it and how do I stop it. Can I access it from a land line?

Per a previous poster:

"This is the number that will show up on your bill for accessing your Voice Mail. When you dial *86, use the Voice Mail access shortcut/button, or click the Call Voice Mail link/button on a smart phone it will show up as having dialed this number.

If you are being charged for it, as I am, contact Verizon too see what option or plan is available that would include free access to your Voice Mail."

I went on white pages to delete all my personal info so it doesn't show up on internet, so now my calls come through as all those zeros according to Verizon's bill.

Without going into details this 000 000 0086 number is on my bill for a phone of which I never call the VM.  Least of all at 4 am.
Any ideas?

My last two statements have increased by $10 and $15 respectively.  This is new for me and it's that damn 000-000-0086 number, not to mention that that robo-gal thing languishes in recounting every possible detail between each voicemail I retrieve.  This has been since Verizon "upgraded" their voicemail.  When the consumer is scammed this way by their own service, we realize that we are the 'factory farmed cows' to the factory farmer.  Yes, I'm frustrated at hell.

Constantly sending unwanted  texts to phone

It’s stupid when you don’t have voice mail set up on your cell phone. Can you call someone else’s voicemail to get a message from them? Why and how does this happen.

This number has been showing up on our bill along with 800 and 775 for the past year. Now that I know what this is I’m thinking about switching providers and I love Verizon BUT
