I live in Jobrug and started receiving calls from this number after trying to opt out from an unsolicited SMS campaign.  The calls come through every 20 minutes or so which is very annoying. I called the national telephone company Telkom and was informed that the number belongs to Direct Channel Marketing in Randburg. I did some work and found the following information:

I called the switchboard on 0113996000 to complain about the calls. I was promptly transferred to a campaign manager by the name of Presley who promised to immediately remove me from their 'Do Not Call' list.  I will monitor the situation and if its not improved, I will report them to the Consumer Protection Adjudicator.  Presley handled my call very professionally (I am a bit irritated as you can imagine) and therefor I will give them this week to rectify the issue before taking the next step.

I can only hope for a positive outcome.

received a lot of calls from this number 011 561 1200. number is engaged when a return call is made.

Have been getting missed calls from this number, when I answered it just gave a loud beep and there was no one, I have decided to ignore and hopefully they will stop calling...whatever or whoever they are

Would like to thank you for your pro-active approach, that has now eased a burden of worry from a lot of us, I surely contact them as well to remove me from their list.

The 011 561 1200 number,I managed to trace it with the help of my sister who works at telkom the company name is DIRECT CHANNEL MARKETING,They are in Ferndale Randburg,I thing they were doing tele-marketing...but the thought of returning the call and the number is always engaged can really give you goose-bumps.....

I received a call from this number when I tried to call it is engaged forever. When they call again I answered but no one responded.

This number seems to be one of those numbers that when you answer they steal your airtime or can send you a virus to your phone... when i answered the call cut and when i call back it was engaged. i got suspicious and googled the number and found out im not the only person... im glad i found out now b4 its too late.....

This number is not to be trusted, please people alert your family and friends.... you never know what could happen once you start giving all your details.... it could be too late...

Unsolicited calls where the caller either doesn't answer or I am switched to a dial tone. Tracking down the company and calling them to ask them to put me on their "do not call" list just resulted in their receptionist hanging up on me. Cell C call centre says they cannot block the number for me.

I am getting a minimum of 5 calls a day from this number but there isn't anyone on the line, tried calling back but it is engaged

My cousen got a call from this number and when i answer, unknown person start to insult me.

Also received call from this nr for a week now. Try to call back, nr engaged

I got a mised call from this number 0115611200 i throught maybe is for gauteng emergency medical service but not.this is seems like scams,so pls plp just watch out and there are two scams at limpopo lucas maphadene and maria sibula from bochum area who defruadelet more than thousand of plp money by using a cell phone "0769195417"

I just read your mesage and was glad I decided to google this before it was too late. Tried to call the number back but it said that I am not subscribed to call this number. I got this call 20 min ago.
