Answered this call today from this number.  I was informed that he was from Telkom and that I could be placed onto a cheaper account with Telkom.

I agreed and then he asked for my first name and I refused to give it to him.  He said that he can tell me my account number, so I called his bluff and he hung up!

I received 10 calls from this number,when i try to call it back no answer.please help.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about a month.

I have receieved three calls from this number today. Really, I thouht the new consumer act wil protect us from this rubbish.

Today I had 2 missed calls from this no. Wen I try to phone it back says the no its not working. I wonder who it is.

I am so tired for this pathetic call and they call you twice when you answer they hang up and try to call back number is always engaged.  This pathetic caller must get a life.

Just received a call on my cell from this number.   African woman spoke in heavy accent.  She knew my name.  She said she was from TELKOM, asking if I I had a landline and If I get free time.  I said: "Yes, why don't you call me on the landline then?"  She quickly cut the call and said she won't bother me any further today.

(If she was from TELKOM, surely she knew that I had a line with them ?!!!)

I had the same. Pretending to be from Telkom.
And then when they wanted to do a security check and check my ID, etc. So I refused. If they call me, I will never give any details.

I lady called me yesterday from this number saying she was calling from Telkom asked for my I'd and address didn't know she is a crook worried

A lady called today from telkom also require all my personal details.  She want to do a  security check and  if I am an South African, and I refused, I did ask her what the product name is, then I can contact Telkom myself. She said WEEKEND FREE WIRELESS @ R185-00 PER MONTH Hahahaha.

I think because I said we dont have a telkom line and would love to have a land line she wanted the address, this will give them access to your premises invited by you.

Be carefull doent give fisical address or personal details to anyone.

Have been receiving calls on a daily basis from this number. Yesterday between 09.48 and 13.15 I got 8 missed calls. Have placed this number on my reject list - so one good thing is that I don't have to listen to my phone ringing constantly. When is someone going to put a stop to this.

i receive calls daily - no voicemail left and nr cant be called back - dont trust this nr

The person who calls me using this number is annoying. Please stop trying to scam me , you wont get anything as i am very broke.

Had 2 missed calls from this number today!!! just rings twice then hangs up!!! The past week i have had many missed calls .
Manage to answer now and its Telkom!!!! Wanting to know if I have a telkom line!!!! Guess he got me on a bad day!!!! I told him off for dropping the call after two rings and for for the phone being engaged!!! This number cant recieve calls as its a call center!!!!!

Got this call with pre recorded message saying that he is trying to connect me to the caller...playing Andrew Lloyd Weber music and hanging up after a minute.

Just add to your phones auto block list. strange you can sms it.
