I get at least 2 calls daily from this number and nobody speaks on the other end.Its starting to frustrate me.Please help

Hi i received a call from this number 011 995 0000.The guy told me he was looking for a Mr TT Tsotsetsi.I told him he had the wrong number and then he asked me whats my name.So i told him i was Nelsen and then he says hes calkling from Telkom.He asked me about ADSL and a landline if i had one.I told him i am happy with my ADSL and that i was busy because he got a little rude on the phone.I then hung up.He told me his name was Sheraad

I get 6 calls from this number, same as everyone else, they just hang up etc. So annoying! I really wish there was a way to block these calls on an iPhone!

I am tired of this number calling me. How do i make it stop!!!!

I got a call from this number 0119550000. The person said he is from telkom. He was selling me a special telkom call package. Its quite annoying cos i first got 2 missed calls last week, one leaving what seems like a generic sales message. I then got 5 missed calls in an hour from this number when my phone was on silent. I tried calling it last week and today but it goes to voicemail. I eventually took the call on the sixth call today and told them to stop calling.

got a call from this nr today 6/6/2013 saying he is from Telkom, but nr doesn't exist, asking questions about landline and ADSL......

I'm getting missed calls from this number and its so frustrating

I have been getting miss calls from this number.   Today i got a call this monring about 9.00am,when answered the person/thing hangs up.   When I got the second call today I answered and said why do you keeping calling only to hang up.  Surprised I got avoice from the other side saying that she si Helen from Telkom PE, wanting to know if I receive my Telkom invoices.   Very strange to get someone from Telkom PE to call only to find out about the receiving of invoices

Same story - when I answer, no-one is there, and when I dial 011 995 0000,  the number is "unobtainable".
There is another number which does the same thing - I received numerous calls from 031 940 9859 for a couple of months, and then it stopped.
If you Google search the numbers, you will find many, many complaints about these, and other numbers doing this.
It's scary because the cost of these calls to the callers must be enormous, but they keep going - so you wonder what kind of money they may eventually be able to get through this.
Sadly, although 031 940 9859 has about 2500 complaints, there is still no investigation on it.

Received several calls from this number today, reported it to a contact working with the Hawks and SAPS to trace the number.

just got a call from 0119950000, answered, no answer on the other side. so I hanged up, googled the number and ended up here, now I know to tell the guy to fck off. Thanx

I wonder what the reason for it is... How do you make money off it? I get five calls a day from it. Never answer, I just ignore it.

Also calls me ALL the time then hangs up.

Since 8 am this morning been getting calls from 011 995 0000 every 30mins, it is almost 2pm and I can't even recall how many calls I had to kill. They calling on my cell and no one speaks on the other end. Sounds like a callcenter. Before that someonecalled my number looking for my mother - this was an 021 code so reading the other posts I don't know if the 2 incidents are related. Is there a lawyer to sue for harassment - I have reason too believe it is Telkom

Put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That will make the calls easier to ignore.

You can probably block the calls. Ask your provider how.

Hi i have just received two calls from this number , first time the call cut , second time no one speaks , i was quiet as i was reading about this number calling people and giving stories about calling from telkom . Oh i think i should tell him where to get off the low life scum that has no life.
