I got the same call today singing the same song as with you guys. when I called Fnb they told be very nasty that there was nothing they could do

I have just received the same call. When I asked why were we receiving these offers, I was told because government wants to boost the economy.

I received same call today. Unfortunately, I gave him my ID number coz he sounds so real.. He spelled out my full name correctly, my address, my account number, even the date I registered my account.
Dont you guys think they get all this information from someone in the bank?
We need to be very careful of this fraudsters. Please, they are 100% fake.

Got a call just now from the same number,haaai i asked repeatedly which company she works for but she gave an answer so fast i couldn't get the name,she insisted that i comfirm my bank account,i refused told her i don't know it off by heart,she said i should comfirm an income date i said no then,she hanged up and said she will call tomorrow to explain again,haaaaa fraud,i will never comfirm my bank account with people i am not sure of,GUYS DO NOT COMFIRM ANYTHING WITH THEM, seems like we are not safe at FNB haaaa

i got a missed call this number a few minutes ago, and when i call back it does not seem to exist.

Got the same call went to fnb it is fraud as simple as that.

how do we resolve this matter....

I received a call from the same number, an Indian woman was asking me if I have received three golden cards yet and I said no, and she apologized for not receiving them and told me that I will get them and will be able to get 30% discount on all my groceries and shopping, then I told her I never asked for those cards but she tried to explain that it isn't a contract or binding or credit cards all South Africans are getting them so it is easy for saving money. They know my residential address, ID, bank account number. How the hell do they get our details from FNB? Has anyone had any debits going off their accounts after these calls.

I have just received a call from the same number. they have all my personal banking info, i tried calling back the number, but its invalid. I have contacted the bank to make sure there are not debit orders that will go through.

l also got a phone call from the same number asking me if l had recieved a voucher.Funny side this Indian woman had my banking details and personal details. she then asked me when do l get paid when l asked why she said l will get an sms with all the details so that l can understand better,hung the phone.l'm also using Fnb.

I just called FNB now about these Solid Gold people, FNB doesn't know them and they don't see the urgency of this matter. I'm rather angry at FNB now.

I have just received the same call.  They know my residential address, ID, bank account And it was a white lady's accent on the phone asking me whether I received my solid gold reward card. i just asked the bustard what the discounts have got to do with my banking details, I was alerted when she read for me a previous account koz i changed from savings to check account and she read the savings account i cancelled already.
How the hell do they get our details from FNB? Has anyone had any debits going off their accounts after these calls. I was being asked when I receive my salary in my account...when I refused they hung up and tried calling back and the number doesn't exist

Since they have so much personal information about you (a result of so much customer service work being outsourced to foreign countries that do not have safeguards on personal information in place) you need to put fraud alerts on your bank accounts and credit cards and with the three credit bureaus.  Keep a close eye on all your accounts for suspicious activity.

From simple investigation i have realized that these bustards get details from people who purchase online or people who post classifieds online e.g Backpage, Netpages, etc as u want to promote your add u enter the banking details.

Got a call today just after fnb sent my monthly statement asking dat am using a check account from fnb and that she is call from solid gold rewards and they will send an sms to me to confirm to that will get my rewards when I told them that I don't know anything about rewards the white lady hang up

Please stop those glowns because they are bothering me too like am owing them. They called me last month and even today.

Received a call from that similar number, they are scammers’ they want you to confirm banking details, residential address and ask you your sources of income. Were the hell did they get my personal details!!! Guess this has something to do with FNB,how are they only targerting FNB clients.
