It is fraud, I have now pulled all my statements up to 1jan2014, discovered about 7 different companies taking off the exact same amount 99.99.

they deal with ppl working in the bank.

Received a call from the "Unlimited Group" on this number. Trying to sell me some car insurance stuff. She knew my name so obviously they bought my details ILLEGALLY from some mailing list provider. These people never heard of the Consumer Protection Act or POPI. Going to keep an eye on my bank account after reading about all these Durban scam call centres that debit your  account for just under R100 after making that initial call. Beware people!

I also received the missed call of this number 0319405487 it's  a scam number Nxa!!!!! [***]

Hey i also got 3 missed calls and for some reason my gut feeling told me to google this number . Thank you Guys for the heads UP

Got the call yesterday morning from 031 940 5487. First the lady asked me if I received my gold card on my old address. I told her I used to stay there. She asked for my current address. Before I told her i asked her what it is about again then she started explaining the 30% discount rewards. After that I knew I never applied for anything of that sort which I informed her, instantly she hung up.

they called while i was listening they confirmed bank details and as i was listening fortunately is the wrong bank details, as i was about to say i am not interested they hanged  up. i tried calling the number it keeps on hanging up.

I also receive a call from this number and I told the lady im not working and she hang up

I really think FNB should do something about this. .i got the same call asking me my where abouts and if i got the checkers and pick'n'pay voucher from , this happened after the women told me all my banking details for their conformation she said.I told her  I don't have time , I need to research this sizabantu she works for and she dropped the phone call afterwards.

I also got the same call today. I just wonder how the hell these people get hold of our information. I don't know what to do about it now cos the lady told me all these things and told me I'll be receiving an SMS explaining the programme. M scared I'll loose all my money to these people

I don’t remember receiving such a call from this number, I only got a deduction of R399 from DJEM,MANHAT R99, Legalass R89, Leesmarketing R99, for the past 4 months and I don’t know these guys.  I didn’t notice all these debit orders until now August and I approached FNB they managed to reverse some of my monies for August….  So my question is who are these people and where do they get our details ….#Indianlady

I also just received a second call this morning alone from this number,the lady just got so agitated when i told her no that is not my account number. Could just hear the worry in her voice shame. I just wonder where they got their hands on such delicate info.

I have just receive a call from this number 031 9405487 and was a zulu lady speaking she said she's from sizabantu discount cards she asked if I have received a discount card to use when shopping I replied NO and she told me all my details (my name,address,I'd num and wat type of bank am I using ) I agreed that those r my details she said a discount card wil be sent in my physical address and they wil start dedacting money from my account and she told me my bank account number as it is when try to ask hau she got my details then hung up I then try to call the number back it did not went throw that's when I did a reseach about it and I saw its scam

these people seem to know everything about us but it's back dated information

question is where do they get the banking details? is it an inside job with the banks or something else??

Oh my word these Indians bustards they just called me and I confirmed everything thou I was sceptical. Immediately I called FNB and there is nothing they can do for now as they have to wait for them to deduct so they can reverse the money. I also tried to call them back with no joy. And the minute you confirm with them they just hang up without saying goodbye. Then I decided to google their number. Eish I am so scared. They are not even clear when they talk to you. The second question is worse you hardly hear a thing instead they rush you to say SAY YES OR NO

All my details were read out to me and then as I was about to ask for verification of identity and what not.  The Indian lady I was speaking to hung up.  I'm pretty freaked out..  I called fnb and they say they know nothing of this.  But my life's details have just been read out to me by a complete stranger.  This could lead to identity theft.  I'm not even sure what to do

I received a call from the same number and the lady read out my account number but the ID was wrong. When I told her I won't authorise debit order online she hung up.

Does this "sizabantu" thing even exist? Like I got a call from some black lady tuning its some FNB thing, she had all my details & the call was quite lengthy though she was speaking very fast. So after reading all these comments I'm quite anxious
