I, too, have received several calls from this number.  I am registered with the "Do not call" government agency and have reported this same number.

You will have to register each phone line in use; landline, cell phones.

After you have been on each list for 31 days, if you receive a bogus phone call, then you may file a complaint.  The government agency will go after each and every bogus call made to you or your dad.  Just register~!!!!  All those annoying calls during dinnertime have ended!  Try it-it's free and meant for us, the victims of annoying calls.

I, too, started seeing this # the last couple of weeks (AT&T mobile phone).  When I get a voice mail message, it shows a prompt to "Call", using the left soft key.  But now, the number showing is this 1001005080 #, rather than the usual voice mail phone #.  If I press "Call", it uses this # and says "Your call cannot be completed as dialed."  As the above message says, when you see this #, hit IGNORE, then press the 1 key to access voice mail as usual.  AT&T:  This is a pain!!  Please fix!!

I wrote my '2 cents' below, but then searched a little.  On an AT&T Forum, I found someone describing what I did, that this # started showing up when a voice mail was received.  The person also indicated that he/she has a Pantech Swift phone.  I have a Pantech Breeze.  Is this happening exclusive to this brand of phone?  Or, do you all have different phones?  Just trying to narrow it down, if possible...

I called AT&T since I, too, was getting this # when my screen showed I had a voice mail.  Turns out, this is a known issue and is being worked on.  I can't totally speak for them, but I thought she said the problem is primarily with Pantech (6 models) and Blackberry 9700.  

The problem is being worked on but, in the meantime, when you have a new voice message, hit IGNORE  (so it doesn't dial this odd #) and press '1' to access your voicemail.

I just started getting this number after all my family has been through, I find it hard to believe in such coinsidence, and its on a dumb phone

I get these calls and AT&T told me not to answer them, and since I stopped answering the calls, I am not getting them as often as I did. If you will stop answering the calls then they will stop calling you all the time. This is my cell phone so when you don't answer it does not use any of your minutes, just let it go to voice mail and they never leave a message.

I receive call constantly from this number which is so weird. Leaves msg. but says number can not be placed as dialed....the "Do Not Call List" is a joke...submit numbers all the time still no progress with the calls to stop. Very annoying and something needs to be done for people paying out cell bills and having to endure such. Somebody get busy and stop this...

I have been getting calls from this number for weeks now and it is getting very annoying. I do not know how they got my cell number and it is coming almost daily. How do we stop whoever is doing this? I am on do not call but I also know there is not a 100 area code in the US.

This number comes up on my cell phone when I have a voicemail as if I dialed it to make a call, then it doesn't connect to anyone/anywhere. I'd like this to be blocked/removed.

I get a call at least once a day from this number.  It goes to voicemail which then states, "This call cannot be connected as dialed.

I too have been getting this message, 1001005080, then i go to my voice mail box and it is from my neighbors phone leaving me a message.  weird???   I pissed off a bunch of indians working for gura-aid, because they kept bugging me day and night.  Its is probably from those a**holes.

I called AT&T.  They said it was a type of malware, reset my phone, See if that works.

Husband has been getting calls from this number for over a month. No one answers n when we call back says number invalid or just rings. Getting really tired of this.

I have been having the same thing happen for about a week.  Only happens with me associated with voice mail as well...never have received a call from the number.  To test this thing out, I had my daughter call me and deliberately didn't answer ... The phone rang, showing me it was from her like normal.  Let it go to voice mail... Got the chime for a voice maiI like always, but now it showed the voice mail from this 100-100-5080 number with the "call" or "ignore" sliding buttons.  If you slide "call" you get the recording that it cannot be connected.  If you choose "ignore," like othe posts have said, it goes away and you can get the real voice mail pressing the 1 key.  Bizarre and annoying to say the least.  Like others, I am with ATT and have a pantech phone.  Talked with ATT yesterday and they are indeed aware but obviously cannot fix the thing yet.  I'm not ready to jump to the conclusion about "evil" lurking...but incompetence does reign supreme!

Have been getting these calls about a month.  Sooo annoying!!!!!  Also is messing up my phone each time it calls.  Contacted AT&T they said have no idea who or where it comes from!  How can I get it stopped?????

I contacted AT&T they want to charge $4.99 a month to block the number.  Think this is very stupid!!!
