This number shows on phone company text log, phone does not do text messaging & yet this information is indicating a text recieved, phone company is an AT&T Reseller ( uses AT&T cell towers). quite creepy how number log via phone company indicates any of this yet I guess AT&T is indicating a text is sent to my phone number-such a waste of time, information & collecting false data.

Just because the plan you have with your phone company does not allow you to get texts, that does not mean that others cannot try to send them to you.

The only waste of time is your worrying about it.  The program that logs those undelivered text messages only spends a tiny fraction of a second to do so and the information in that log is there for both the subscriber and the phone company.  Recording an incoming text, even one that cannot be delivered, is not "false data".

The number 100-100-5080 is not a valid phone number for making phone calls in North America.  No valid phone number can have a zero "0" or one "1" as the first digit of the area code or the prefix/exchange number.  This number violates that rule.

An invalid number can be used by a phone company within its own network to handle communications (such as transferring calls to voice mail or delivering texts) between their systems and a subscriber's phone.

Using such a phone number by your phone company is nothing to worry about, it allows them to provide the services you want.

However, if you get a phone call/text purporting to come from such a number, it is best to ignore it as it is being spoofed by someone (most likely a scammer) too stupid to know the number could never be used to make a call or send a text.
