I recieved 3 letters from capital one (the credit card people) about a possible fraudulent account opened on my behalf. At first I ignored it, because I was busy....and besides all the letter arrived at the same time but postmarked with different dates and 2 of my previous addresses.
Then one of my previous employers, that I still talk to on FB messaged me that capital one had called asking to speak to me and explained that it was to confirm a possible fraudulent account opening.

I never applied for a credit card with them, therefor I called them. I spoke to an agent, he asked me for the case number of the letters I had recieved and the last four of my social, then proceeded to tell me that it was very important that I contact the credit agencies. (he mention the usual 3 companies). He told me that he would take step to ensure the account was closed.

at no point did I give him my number (I used my cell) but after we hung up, I recieved my first strange text with that code- 11113......
then again later that night
and once more the next day.

has anyone esle noticed that when look up this number online it takes us to pages with advertizing for credit score stuff or other similar ads?

i just tried 2 reply. the phone wasted .3 min to open the message, .3 min to reply, and .3 min to say "1111301000 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code."

that happened a few days ago. some random number texted me another number. it was a friends number that she was sending me, but it was from a different number. it also said it was sent at 2:15 am the next day. ie it was the 14th, and it was sent on the 15th, and was receaved on the 14th. ?_?

this has been happening once a month 4 afew years now. im sick of it!

ed chicken??? its some psyco hacker, im sure of it know. or some mental paitent got hold of a cell phone.

paranoid at this second. it could change at different screens ans when u refresh though.......

the only 2 people who can send pixtures is my friend and my mom. they both know i dont receive pics........ and yhis number is niether of them. i have text conversations all the time with them, and the're on caller id.

There is a way to defeat this on the Net10 phone.  When you get a text message, you only have the option to "view" or "ignore".  Ignore, go to your Menu and go to the Messages section, go to your Inbox.  The first 4 or so letters of the message are shown.  If blank, delete it without viewing!

I have a pre paid phone and get continuous messages from this number- I pay 50 cents for each opened blank message and it ticks me off-  how do I get it to stop?
