- ManitobaI did some further checking regarding these bozos. As a previous entry indicated, the calls appear to be originating from Winston-Salem North Carolina. However to find out more info, you have to pay about 10 bucks to a website signed to "Intellius". I also sent in an e-mail complaint to the Manitoba Telephone System. They are aware of these calls, and although pesty, they are not illegal. In fact the MTS person who answered my complaint had also received a number of these stupid calls. MTS also made a number of suggestions to reduce and hopefully eliminate these kinds of calls.
1. If in Canada, contact the Canadian Marketing Association and ask that your name be place on the "do not call list." Their website address is "www.the-cma.org".
2. Contact your local Better Business Bureau. In Manitoba
the website address is www.manitoba.bbb.org
3.If in Canada, e-mail to the Canadian Consumer Association at "info@consumer.ca"
4. If in Manitoba contact MTS at their website "www.mts.ca".
For different provinces or complaints from the U.S., similarly tasked
agencies are likely available.
I hope that the foregoing helps. - ShanI get this one every couple of days, also shows up as 456-7890. Haven't answered it - no message left.
- Lill| 1 replyJust got a call from 1234567890. WTF?? Came through to my cell. Didn't answer it.
- annoyedI get calls from 123-456-7890, 312-345-6789, and 512-345-6789 almost on a daily basis. Anytime i've picked up no one is on the other line. I hear silence for about 30 seconds and then it disconnects. It's becoming a real annoyance.
- Tickt Off| 1 replyDid some research and the number 123-456-7890 is a false number used for telemarketers so you can't trace them. I was told to make an official claim with Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications. The link below will take you to the website to make an official claim agains this number.
http://www.crtc.gc.ca/RapidsCCM/Register.asp?lang=E - CBThis number has called several times over the last couple of days. I usually don't pick up, but I'm so sick of them calling, I have started to. I have yet to actually have anything on the other end though. SOOO annoying!
- CB replies to Tickt OffThanks for the link! I've filed my complaint.
Hopefully it works. - brianI was on the phone and decided not to answer another call that was trying to get through. Afterwards, I checked the call display on the phone and found this number. I tend to agree with some of the earlier comments about VOIP calls.
- MeBack in the days if you pressed 999 and your home phone number, pressed the clicker (on the old phones) once and then hung up. Your house phone would ring and the call display would read 123-456-7890. This was very funny because it use to trip my mom out while we were upstairs laughing our butts off.
- Caller: Crank Call
- JM replies to MondaxDo not go to that website. I went to it..and the 123-456-7890 # called right away!!!
- -P replies to AlphabeckiI work for Primerica - we do NOT do courtesy calls.
- mee toocalled several times in the last 2 days......my young daughter answered the phone and it was a man with an Indian type accent.....asked for my dead mother by name and then wanted to know if my daughter had the authority to make decisions over rhe phone ..he asked if my mother passed away and then asked my daughter what her name was. She didn't answer him and hung up.
- sick and tired of scamsI also got a call from 1 123 456-8790. Nothing else was stated in the CID. Then again why would there be? I just got the call today, but im familiar with it from past recieved calls. Much like most of them nothing was said` from their end. But all in all just remember if` you dont know for sure who is calling you, obviously dont give out your ID. Well even then be leary of ones calling to find out info. The # being hit over and over sometimes works but onces your on a phone mailing list your prime target for your phone number to be resold to other scummy ilegal companys. Be alert, that number was goggled by me also and found out that there are many so called businesses with that number making me to think it's an easy number to falseify. VOIP is an easy way to not only reuse the number, but also to get many different numbers for the same person. These numbers along with 888, 800, and other various numbers tend to be like a fly by business if you do get someone to talk on the other line today it will be cable company tomorrow it will be someone pretending to be your bank company, or credit card company. Some many pretend like there is misterious credit card usage on your credit card and probably will ask for your password to fix the issue. Fake, scam...once again be leary. if # dont work buy one of those call blocker equipment alot of them work better than your phone company's blocking program. There was a test done on them, and if your one that gets sick of crap calls early in the morning or anytime threw the day and night I suggest to invest a bit of money in one of those. and no im not a salesperson.
- annoyedi got a call from this number at my job. they called on my private line. how in the hell do they get my work number? how do get this crap to stop!!!!!
- perditaI got a call tonight about 5 minutes ago. I live on the east coast of Canada. I don't answer telemarketing calls but was curious, so I googled this number. Sounds like I made a good decision in not answering

- MatIn Canada, please refer to the web site of Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission www.crtc.gc.ca for new rules (issued last year end) about the National 'Do Not Call List' DNCL to stop the telemarketers calling your phone.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ADMjust got a call from this number, have gotten two in the last week along with a whole slew of other numbers that are 1-800. I don't answer any of them but it is becoming a huge pain. I am in Eastern Canada. Nice to see I am not alone in getting these calls but will they ever stop? As with everyone else, there is never a message left.
- GrrrI just got this call a few hours ago too! I am in Atlantic Canada! I have been getting a few odd numbers on my CID lately! I don't bother to answer them. Our cell phone has been getting a lot of odd text messages too lately. (carebearcutie) or something like that, really annoying!
