They called me over and over, I finally got to answer it today, a lady with a thick indian accent talks to me, I ask for a supervisor, she says they are in a meeting, I asked for a number for me to call them back, she declined saying she works for PRIMUS CANADA, I asked her where she is calling me from, its a call center in INDIA!!!!!!!!!!  I cannot believe PRIMUS canada would resort to using people located in India to sell there crap.  I asked to be added to do not call list she told me it will be done in 48hrs.  I am calling Primus to complain and ask the to to remove my name and number!

They called every day for the last 3 weeks when no ones at home, but on tuesday I was home.  The call from Primus trying to sell long distance call package, very insistant..they wouldn't take no for an answer..but when I asked them about there funny phone number and asking questions about there company Primus and how I could make a complain to the CRTC on their company she said that my phone number will be taking off their calling list.. I've been receiving a lot of telemarker call lately and they all stop since last week!!!

I live in Atlantic Canada, I received a call from this number and a man with a thick Indian accent with the last name Rodgers told me he was with Primus and wanted me to switch my long distance plan the more i said no the more he pushed the issue told him i was not interested after 5 no's he hung up. Then two days later yesterday he called back i could barely get a word in i said no three times and told him to take me off the calling lists, he kept over talking me so i hung up and called Aliant and they said it is Primus and they are very aggressive and do not take no for an answer and i told him i asked to take me off their call list and i was ignored so the guy from Aliant said he would fill out the paper work for me to be on the no call lits.. hope it all stops.

I just got a call on myhouse phone and i said Hello no one answered. This is very strange. I might contact my local phone compnay because i heard of people tappimg into to ur phone and using ur long distance.

I have been getting lots of calls on my phone from this number and I live in the maritimes, Canada..Anyway I found your site here by using google and I also looked up teh number on 411...said no existing area code...so I put teh number under businesses ..Here is the two that came up for me..under thsi search..I think its time to harrass back...

wonder if it has anything to do with it ...have no idea what these companies do...I plan on searching for a site online where I can message them and tell them stop calling me.....

I just got this call and they asked for me by name....said not available and when I asked for them to leave a message they said that they would try again another time. this is really creepy.

I have had several missed calls on my cell phone from (123) 456-7890, which I thought to be odd.  BUT last month there were charges and reversed charges on my credit card statement from whoever this is.......and I have no idea how they got my cc info.  I cancelled the card immediately!

I too am in the Maritimes Canada. The number 1-123-456-7890 showed up. Thank you for the info. There doesn't seem to be any logic behind these fake numbrs. Perhaps telemarketers.?

This number is a Non-Responsive Telephone Number (NRTN) given to companies that do not allow call-backs on there outgoing lines. In many cases it is a legit company, but in seemingly most it is not. Many scammers use NRTN's to contact people so that they can not be traced. There is not much that can be done to prevent this right now because the fake 123-145-7890 number is not blocked on the Do-Not-Call list. This is because it is not a legitimate number. You may be able to setup your phone to not allow calls from NRTN's, but you will have to contact your provider for more info on this. For all of those that have been worried about these calls, don't be. The only way a scammer can hurt you is if you give them information, which we should all no better than to do if we do not know who we are talking to.

Picked up after a ring or two. The number has shown up many times on caller ID. They claimed to be primus Canada.Took a few moments for them to pick up. I asked to be removed from the calling list, says it takes 48 hours.??? Seems fishy.

Call comes in, I answer, hello hello hello....no response, just a hang up.

didn't answer the call , no such area code listed in phone book ,called Aliant they said no such number, never to answer it,fine by me.

I just got my second call from this number. I got one yesterday as well, while I was at work. No messages left. I did not answer the phone.

Is there any way that we can stop these calls? Is there anywhere/one to complain to, to get this to stop? I get so many calls from unknown numbers that refuse to leave a message that I would like to give up my phone altogether. I just want to turn it off.

Just got a call from this number, but I didn't answer. I googled this page, since the phone number looked incredibly fake.

1-123-456-7890 calls on a daily basis. It is pretty sad that we have to pay for caller ID to screen our calls. What kind of ridiculous number is that?

I have a way I block such calls, you must have caller ID to know the number, I log it into my phone's phone book as 'DNA (no not answer) and the company name or what kind of call it is like 'DNA Survey Co' and the number and then  go down to what kind of ring I want this one to have, and select NO RING! This takes care of any future calls, it appears to be ringing in to them but doesn't to me. My phone lights up when a call comes in and when it's not ringing I ignore it. I do the same on my cell as I often have my home phone forwarded to my cell, and why should I pay for their call? Good Luck!
