Just got a call from this number. .I am in Winnipeg Manitoba. I suspected a rat and did not answer it.   I have now used my call blocking on my digital phone to block it permanently.

Don't EVER press "1" or any number when a message or number offers you anything to do with your credit card.  Pressing a number can sometimes allow them to access your phone account and charge things to it, or they can talk you into giving them your credit card information and then using it.

I went to my bank about this and they said it is a scam that the police are working on.  No reputable bank or credit card company would ever offer anything over the phone and absolutely NEVER with an automated system.  Please report these calls to your bank if the message uses your banks name, or your credit card company if they use your credit card company name.

been getting calls from these guys since I changed my number and pay an unlisted fee to get away from this BS .... its amazing how our judicial system and law enforcement can bust and prosecute someone stealing a loaf of bread from Walmart but allows these guys to invade my home on a daily basis - no call list or not! tell your MP that we need some control over this crap ... its supposed to be a democracy isn't it?

I was just called by this number.It was a recorded message that was telling me they could lower my credit card interest. I have been called by them many many times..and not only from that number.

When i answered it was a recording saying "if you want to be one of many americans whos lives was changed press 2 now". Im Canadian...

Got the call last night. I asked the caller if he did not have the 'no call list" in front of him. Then I went off on him, while he sputtered in a foreign language - or maybe it was English, hard to tell! Anyway he said I would not receive any more calls from Sears. Different from what I have read from others on this site - but I don't need anyone calling me and trying to sell me crap.

I answered this # a week ago and the man at the other end asked for us by name. We have common last name in the English world but he mispronounced it dreadfully. The connection was very bad so I wonder if this is coming from overseas?
Being of so quick wit I told him he had the wrong # and hung up, but from then on I have had 2 more calls from this #.
I have learnt never to answer calls without your reading glasses on!

I got this call today as well, they said it was "Mimi" calling about my current credit card.. I hung up there.  I have gotten that same call from other phone numbers before.  Really bloody annoying.

so i keep getting phone calls from 123-456-7890... i usually hang up on them... or say no one is home...hopefully i dont get some kind of major bill... but good thing though is i dont have a credit card...i jus wish they stop calling...is it good i dont respond to their calls?...lol..idk..hmmm..

Just got a call from this phone number, despite being on the DNC list for a month and a half, long past the time when they are no longer allowed to call me.

If you're Canadian you can register your phone number at the Nationa Do Not Call List either by calling in form your phone or going to the website
