got a call from 123-456-7890 my daughter hung up and they hung up!  just great like we need to deal with more nonsense in the world.  Thanks for the inputs it help alot....  Another one to watch for is 904 area code #'s i was told these people purchase a large amount of cell phone or phone cards and use those to make scam calls as well...

I got a call from 123-456-7890 and when I answered it, no one was on the other line.  I looked up the number on 411.ca and it did not recognize the number.

Tried calling this number and it had a really weird ringtone but no one answered

I got a call from this number & they said they preapproved me for 1500.00,I told them no & I tried to call it back & it was an unidentified number.

I just had the same thing happen to me just now. Had me going for a sec to cause my computer has been acting kind if wired lately. But I told him we haven't used it for a month now and he just kept telling me to turn it on and he'll fix it. He said he was with a group that works with Windows. So I just hung up. He calls another 3 or 4 times but I ignored it assuming it was a scam.

Same thing with me, they call me around 7:40am, when I answer, I get some guy that sounds like he is from India. He started asking me about my computer so I just hung up on him. They called again this morning and when I answered, no one was there, so I hung up. I see that 1-123-456-7890 has called me 5 times.

they have been calling me all day, even after I told them to remove me from the list. i try to curse them out and they hang up on me lol

they same for me, its like you call me and when i call you back i get a fax machine or a operator tri tone

I have had my cell number changed and getting the text message again. Thanks Bell for allowing anyone to click on your website and sent a untraceable text message and harrasse your customers. And the text message show it comes from 1-234-567-890.

The last call of this nature was from "Mark Antony" in India claiming to be from Windows IT department. I just listened and when he asked if I could hear I said I was just waiting to hear what story he came up with. When he launched into something about my computer I said "what computer?" He finally hung up.

This sounds like phishing scams to me. They are masking their own identity and location.

I think it is important to give out no answers, even a yes or no. Next time I will just say "what is your phony story this time?"

I have received calls from this number literally hundreds of times over the last year and a half.  Have answered on several occasions and it generally was a Canadian Pharmacuticals company looking to sell viagra or cialis.  Have did everything from asking them to quit calling to threatening to kill them(generalloy a hindu accent).  The calls keep coming three to six times a day from this and several other numbers.  Tried reporting it to FCC, but, they don't care?????? Was told by phone service to just change number and hope they don't find it out??  What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 123-456-7890 telemarketing issue.  It is a company telemarketing from the far east - probably India, for some reason they do not have to follow the Do Not Call list and can get through with false numbers or Not-Avaiable ID, even with Call Blocking (that is the way the the law was set up). It seems they where trying to sale medicine and that is the third time today - very irritating! How can this be stopped?

When your phone asks the person calling , what their number is this is what they put in to get your phone to ring......It is just a made up number to get them through....
