My wife also received a similar text too.

Got a text that said- "FRM: 18882912200  MSG: Your C.U. debit card has been put on hold.  Call now at 1-877-257-3261 and reactivate your card."   I do happen to have an account at a Credit union, and they do have my mobile, but that's much too generic a text.  Doesn't have the bank name at all.  Whenever my bank sends me a text, it very clearly states that the text is from them.  Plus, why give a false "frm" number, unless you're trying to deceive.  Scam.

well,  i realize reporting to FTC will not do much, so i reported it to SPAM(7726) at least ATT can do something I believe.

Just got a text last night from the same number, similar format as everyone else

Just received a text from this # said my Wells Fargo bank account is suspended. I don't have an account with Wells...

This was a text to apply to be a secret shopper. Paid $300 each report. Then they wanted my checking acct. #. I said I would furnish if I got the job. They deleted my account. LOL so it was a scam

I got this from them...  Of course I didn't click on the email given.

Received a text message from this number. Definitely a scam/spam text

SUBJ:Signed. J
MSG: Hi I'm Julie leach, I have just launched a donation onto you, for claims process, email me if interested to receive

I also received a text from this number representing themselves as Wells Fargo Bank and providing a bogus link to a viral address.  The message read that my account access had been blocked, read asap and click on link.
What next??????

"FRM(*Wellsfargo New CIP Message*)" MSG:Account Suspended. Read this ASAP: [URL redacted]". Clearly a phishing scam. I've never done business with Wells Fargo either.

Mine says FRM: Jaber Abbas.  MSG:  https://goo.gl/qSS3ke.

Obviously, I did not open the link.  Damn scammers.
