Just received 12 calls in less than 15 minutes. No answer when I picked up. No message left on the answering machine. Phone is ringing off the hook! Relentless !!

No. They do stuff like that to freak you out. It's really easy to get your name if they have your number. Just don't answer it, or hang up on them.

My boyfriend downloaded the magic jack app for his iPhone so that he can make calls when he is on wifi, this is the number that came up. I think that anyone can call using the magic jack app and use these random numbers. Obviously he wasn't a scammer, it generates random numbers anytime he calls me using this app. Never give out personal info over the phone, though!

Called at 11:15 pm Mountain time.  I usually don't answer numbers I don't know, but that late and half asleep I answered.  As soon as I answered they hung up.  I hate scammers

I got a random call from this number and when I answered it he hung up. I called back and asked me to enter the "magic numbe" that I was tryin to reach...

Heavy Indian accent. Said I was under investigation by IRS and if I did not call back the case would be downloaded to the court house. I didn't call back but reported number and call to FBI. Has called 3x in 1 week.

I was calling myself from my new MagicJack App on my Android Smartphone.  Calling to my Google Voice number  that forwards to my home voip service.

The caller ID aid Phone DC Cell.  

if i call from the MJapp to my voip directly (not to google voice) the correct caller ID comes up


sO when you see this caller ID, it is magicjack related.....someone using  a magic jack device or app

Called me just now and I rejected it. Called back immediately and left a message. It said Hi Kathy this is Kathy, give mom a call and left a number. The Kathy I know is the only Kathy I know and she doesn't have a mom or any siblings. I know this for a fact since Kathy is my mom. Also the call was very distorted and muffled. Was a young girl. Number she left was a local number but the caller called from WA D.C. and I live in WA. Odd...

Forgot to mention I have Call Forwarding turned on. So they called my unpublished home phone number. Nobody knows our number but the people we gave it to. We also don't have immediate family we ever talk to. And I only know one Kathy and as I said she's my mom. This was very odd.

I received a similar call saying I won 2.5 million dollars and a Mercedes-Benz. left a message on my voicemail but I failed to call him back

This number called, very hard to understand. He said something about winning a sweepstakes. I hung up, he called back as a private number. I answered, I told him to speak better English then call back. He called again, this time I played music in his way then I hung up. No call since.

My phone rang at 2:11 A.M. and it was 202-239-8934. Not only did the jerk wake me out of a sound sleep, I answered because I thought it could be a family member needing help.  I didn't have my glasses on to see it was "Unknown Name."  I called the number and they asked for a magic number.  My magic response to them would be FU.

Don't answer phone.  Let them leave messages which cuts down the crazy calls.

They told me if I didn't call back in 30 minutes I would be arrested by my local police!

received a call from this number today, didn't pick up. I usually don't pick up calls from unknown numbers, searched the number online and found through this page is a scam. Apparently they don't give up and they keep calling. Blocking this number right now.
