Several calls from this number. Some sort of electronic scam. Just hope a malicious program is not activated by answering or entering any numerilc data !!??
When initiating a call to above referenced number, whether from a land line or cellphone, a female voice states..."we could not complete your call"  !

You really think scammers follow directions? Just cause your on the no call registry doesn't mean scammers won't call you, dumbass.

202-455-888 is Google's number which assists people who have forgotten their Google password.

This is a LEGITIMATE phone number, however it may not be used legitimately, by some people. When you use Google Voice, you must register a valid forwarding phone number, & in order to validate that phone number, an automated system - owned & operated, for legitimate purposes, by Google - will call you from this number, & prompt you to enter the two digit code the website provided you. If you aren't using Google Voice & received an automated call from this number, or someone tells you to enter a two-digit number when it calls you, DON'T.

This call continues to come through multiple times per day on my cell phone and you cannot return PC.

I have not answered or called back. Just an annoying repeat caller on my cell. I will put this number in my directory and identify it as scammer.

This is the number for Google Voice.  If you - or, in this case, someone else - sets up a Google Voice Account, your cell phone or home phone will receive a call from this number telling you to verify the number by entering a verification code (a 2 to 3 digit code) and then you (or whomever) is set.  This number can then be used for numerous things, including making international phone calls.  Google the service (or Yahoo it).  See what it's for and try and send a message to Google letting them know you did not sign up for this and to delete the account.

It's an automated call from Google providing you with a 6 digit authentication code to reset your Google account password. Simply, if you weren't the one just trying to reset your password and/or verify your account, then contact Google asap-someone could be trying to hack your account!

This number called i let it go to voicemail and when i listened to it, it was a recording very choppy and i didnt sign up for anything on my google account. Contacting google in the morning to see what is was about!

This number is for Google Voice to set up porting your number.  If you did not begin the process of porting your number to Google Voice DO NOT enter an activation code.

It may be used by some scammers, but it turned up in my caller ID when Google Voice called with their automated system to confirm a forwarding phone to one of my Google Voice accounts.

Now, this number may be used by scammers also (via number spoofing software, etc) but in my case it was a legitimate call initiated by me.

Received call on cell phone from 202.455.8888 on 1-27-2014 @ 2:12 pm, 2:13 pm, and 2:14 pm, left no voice mail.  I do not answer calls from area codes I do not recognize, so I have no idea who this is or what they want.  You can report them or have the number blocked (maybe even traced,) if you call your cell phone carrier.  If you are on the Do Not Call Registry, you can report the number to them.

This number appeared on a friend of mine phone just couple days after a girl befriended him on Facebook and said she was in Nigeria on some type of nurses trip. But when we looked up her page he was only friend on there. She uses a Florida phone number to text and use on Facebook but then this number shows up when she says she tried to call. Was just to fishy

All my accounts are being breached right now. This phone left a voicemail during the attack. It says "3... goodbye" im also getting google verification codes because someone is trying to breach my accounts. I have no idea wtf is going on right now.

I just don't get why people are so stupid that they let strangers on the phone tell them what to do. Hey idiot, why don't you enter a four digit number...oh you mean your bank pin that you use the same number for? Get it yet? You are now on every spammers list in the world and you probably gave out your banking pin. Why? Because you got a call fro a stranger? Do you always just do what strangers tell you to? So why is it different on the phone or computer?
