It's annoying

2021Nov30 Unsolicted call.  I did not answer.  I do not have voice mail.

This may or may not be related:  A few days ago I received 2 google activation codes BY TEXT that I did not ask for.  I wrote back: STOP, because it had to be a scam of some kind.  I deleted the numbers, so I don't know if those texts are related to this phone call.  I never would have suspected the texts could be related to the call until just now when I read the comments.

You want us to feel sorry for you because you allegedly don't have voice mail?  I don't know of any phone service that doesn't include that free of charge.  No point in telling us you did not answer because that is totally not useful or helpful.  Also, real nice job inviting the to call and text some more.  Maybe you should have forwarded those texts to 7726 instead?

For me this was Google doing 2 step verification now that they are forcing it on all accounts. The many other posts make me suspect that scammers are getting phone numbers from Google.

Regular land lines (POTS) don't include voice mail. People still can buy telephones and answering machines separately to plug into them.

Called at 5:08am.  Caller ID:  "Washington"  Message left:  First part of message cut off;  woman repeating numbers for "your code."   Assuming this is the previously mentioned Google scam.

The exact thing just happened to me. It came in from the number 202-455-8888. Shoulx I be expecting anything else?

My email account was hacked and changed the password and contact have been changed, Hindi ko m recovery in different way, please help me.

Nobody here can help with that, especially someone who posted back in 2014. Maybe use some common sense and contact your email service from their website.

Did something happen after the call?

Nothing will happen as long as you don't give the verification code to anyone.

I do not have google gmail/account attached to my phone. There's no reason why I should have received a verification code.
