Hey Credo, the US is not a democracy, it is a republic. Remember the pledge?  ...and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.  Democracy would be the same as mob rule, ie. 51% is all it takes in a democracy to pass something. We don't have that form of government in the US.  Pirate ships like Blackbeard's were run as a democracy.

Nice ignorant way to express yourself.  Did you run Marthas for her?  No wonder you lost & it's no Shocker you dont like Brown, as this state has been in a state of ignorance for a long time. Besides Brown won and that's all that matters!  Atleast he didnt kill anyone and get away with it just because he's a Kennedy. So Lets just agree to disagree and leave it at that!

How did voting for Martha work out for you? Shocker that yet another Oakley supporter is resorting to name calling. God forbid that people have different opinions.

The only dirty tactics were used by Martha, as her focus was all about what Browns done or going to do wrong! Even his truck ad was wrong in her and even the Pres. eyes. It was a clean ad that drove the Dems. nuts.

As for me, all's I wanted to know is what are you going to do right? And as an Indep. at least Brown was active and not afraid of the cold. Oakley walks around with a sense of entitlement that I don't like. Whereas Brown was more humble/honest/appreciative/ and hard working. At least more than Martha ever thought of being, apparently.

Call tactics is a very ignorant reason to not vote for someone! It's quite simple. If it's a # you don't recognize, you ignore it or pick up and hang up immediately if you don't want a voice mail. And just listen to both candidates at your leisure via TV/paper/ or internet. Mudslinging will get you nowhere as far as I'm concerned. I tried to see Martha's side but just didn't like some of her stances on things or her mudslinging techniques. End result? Brown wins! Shocker!

As to many people seem to be voting of of their own negative reactions to something that was not directly from or approved by either of the candidates. It's too bad, cause that can prevent you from making a logical choice for yourself personally. It's ok to vote for whoever you want and that's what makes this country great. But we don't need to resort to name calling and negative things of that nature. We are all better than that!

Why are these people calling children, like myself and my brother?
We are not old enough to vote, and we clearly demand an explanation.
WHY?
We don't want to be charged for Long Distance.
They call us, we ignore the call.
If we answer, they might as well pay for our phone bill.

Tell them to stop calling children's cell phones.
Children are not able to vote.
What's the point of calling us kids?

I get so many calls from unknown people, I finally turned my ringer off. If I recognize the caller ID, I return the call, otherwise I delete it.

They call repeatedly.  I don't answer it....I don't want it....please don't call.

called on my cell phone 8:30 pm Central Time, started into the robocall political pitch, so I hung up.  no caller id info

No message left

I answered the call, no one was there

Interesting comment of US is a republic.  The Republic of China is a republic too... and their government is far from democratic.

So that's what this is all about? Seriously? I live on the West Coast. I didn't know there was an election going on. I don't even know who these people are. Why is someone who's running for an office on the other side of the country bugging me?

last 3 nights call and hangup same time everynight. Only had this number for 2 months

Keep getting numerous calls from this and a vm is left saying only survey and we may try to call again.

All this political rhetoric over an unsolicited call that's irritating in itself.  Have some fun......answer the phone, set the phone down and walk away for 10 minutes.  If it's a recording, oh well, at least you weren't bothered by it!
