i got the first call out of the blue and called the 202 number and got the same offer.
Luckily i read this site before sending thm money. Who do you call to report this fraud? we can call western union and they will put them on a do not deliver list.

what ever you do please do not send money to western union for goverment grant for 5000 dollars.  i received a call from tracy saying she worked for the goverment grants office. please do not send money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is a scam stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Yeah just got the same call today, from the same Sharon Jones. Same story, Federal Grant, blah blah, blah. Kept repeating call this number right away after we are done talking, call right away, call right away...
She gave me the same 202-621-0747 number, didnt tell me who to ask for, just to call the number.
Told her to go to hell :) just wrote the number to go check into it later, to see what kind of scam it is.
Will report them right now too. DONT FALL FOR THIS CRAP.

I received a call from 202-621-0747,claming that i was granted a 5,000,but they wanted me to go to western union and wire them 200.34, i investigated them and found out they was a fraud type of business.

Got a call from 202 621 0422. They said you get $7000 check under obama's stimulus package. They said that it is because you paid tax in time and you have no criminal record. But you have to give a security deposit of $200 first.
This is a scam.

I got the call on 10-18-10  and was asked to call back 2026210747, she said it might be busy but to keep trying . i would receive 7000, i was given a code also. I gave some personal info. but it was from a unkown number. her name was Kelly.

got a call a guy name kenn enn jones called me saying that I won some money for paying my taxes on time an  not having a criminal record and I knew it was some bull-[***] so I googled  the number and it was a scam so PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO THEM THE SAME GUY FROM UNKNOWN NUMBER IS THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE 202 NUMBER

I just recieved the call a few minutes ago. I felt that this sounded pretty weird to me. I gave hime my last 4 of my ssn and date of birth, but not my account info. Should I be worried about this?

i had the same call today and they gave a a website too mygrant.com i realized it was not real cause it ended with .com not .gov but just be aware

I recieved the same call today from a person named steve and the same story he told me and asked me to call back a number to recieve $5,000. I also felt the same as it  is a scam.

I just recieved a call from the same scammers..They claimed to be from The US Department Of Grants.. Iam in college and have applied for several..They seamed to have all my information already..I did try to call the number they gave me and it rings but no answer.. Mideastern axcent with an american name made me look up # on the net..Is there anyone we can report this to?

I just got the call some minutes ago. They asked for my last 4 SSN, I didn't give it to them. I can't understand how they got my NAME, telephone number and my former address!!!!!! I called them back as a police officer and they cut off the line.

just receive a call from unknown someone name austin rould told me the same story and them told me to call 2026210747 and give them his name and confirmation number au121. that its a big scam becarefull

I fell for the same nonsense they got $470 out of me.....I am here to tell people no matter how much they tell u or what they tell u do not believe it and just hang up the phone....I wish I would have thought with my head first or even consulted it over with someone else before making that dumb move,but its going to be ok because they going to get what they deserve conartisit.....So what all u give them your date a birth,account number,and what else?.....

I was scammed out of all my money on Money thru Tuesday November, 15,2010,and November 16,2010 out of $470 I am a full-time student...I just wish I would have thought much more on the decision I made before actually making one with them...They had already knew my name and where I lived...I had to give them my account number as well as my birthday..They also asked what was my last six digits of my social security...I have changed my bank account out and also have filed a complaint about them, but do you think I should be worried about my social security number? I need some feedback because I do not want them to try to steal my Identity now...

I live in Arizona western union will not send or receive more than $450.00. Later they said I must send $435 to them and will send my money to me. I did this; I called them back, and gave them my bank account to send it to my account. They said there was a problem, you owned IRS some money. I called IRS in Washington D.C. They said that I owed nothing to them. I called them back and told them this. Then they said it is now with the Government. I asked which one the government there is lots of agencies; they said it is out of their hands. The money I used was my rent money and now I am out of money. They lied and sold money from me. What can I do to get my $532 dollars back? They will lie cheat you out of you money. Stay away.

These people are scam artist for real! Recieved phone call from every name that's been listed above plus some!! I've received phone calls constantly for the past few days trying to get me to pay $200 for $7000 of FREE GOV MONEY!! Please don't fall for this scam another number to look out for from MYGRANTS.COM is 202-621-0649.
