The caller was an African American female. She actually left me a voice message that was incredibly rude. She was looking for a man (I am female) that I never heard of, stating that he owed her company money for something. She obviously had the wrong number, but her manner was freakishly rude. Don't know if she was a legit Bill collector, or just someone with a very bad attitude. I see the call was from Alabama (I live in California), but the caller did Not have a Alabama accent, she had a detroit or Chicago accent.

    They're baaack
I blocked this spam # ages ago. My phone can only block a total of 50 numbers at one time, so I erase the oldest ones to make room for the latest pests. Clearly they just wait & recycle too. I don't begrudge people needing to work but this industry is really beneath contempt and there ought to be something concrete done to curtail it.

Am ready to start investigating newer phones and other devices.

Tell ya what, ... someone in the Orlando area needs to respond to one of their employment ads, get their address, .... get yo baseball bat and do Sheriff Buford Pusser - "Walking Tall" number on their office and the crooks there!

Spoofed number- 205-409-0895 has been identified as “Bridgett from cardholder services” or rather a Florida boiler-room operation “Russell Schwartz 321-304-7594”.

TWC (Time Warner Cable ) has this feature on their phone system. TWC allows up to 30 calls to be forwarded to another phone number. Love it

I'm not sure which panasonic model you have. I have the kx-tg41 series. It will block up to 250 numbers, and you can choose to hear the first ring or not. If your phone is like mine and you do not want the first ring, hit "MENU", then "#173", then choose "off". It works great. I prefer to have it ring once and these calls have turned from an annoyance to almost a game as I drop what I am doing to rush to the phone to block the call. I love this phone.

Machine voice, something about credit cards, "This is your second and final notice...", Ive been getting so many calls about the final notice, but Ive never heard the first notice about our credit. Clearly a scam. It's a salesperson trick: To make you think there is an urgency to get you to answer it.

I listened through the whole message, but there wasn't even a way to stop calls like "Press # to be removed from our list" or anything. Im on the do not call list.

These are scammers trying to get your credit card number over the phone by claiming to lower your interest rates. They are trying to steal from you. NEVER give out your credit card number over the phone.
You have to call the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION and report them. The more people that report these rip-off artists the better chance of them being shut down.

Just got a call from these scumbags, I responded with vulgar language and death threats.  They told me they would call the cops and they know where I live.  Funny, I don't see a squad car outside.

That's what they get for interrupting my lunch.

I just called that guy, and he has amensia.  Time to contact the FBI (when the GOP takes control of the Senate) and set up a sting operation.  Wanted to know how I got his number.  Too bad is Florida (where you can't tape the call)

BE AWARE:  You can not block all of these numbers.  THE REASON:  They are using "SPOOF CARD" technology.  EXPLANATION:  If you google (as I did) SPOOF CARDS, you find out that anyone can use them to put any name or number in the ID.  Case in point.... I have been called by several local residential and commercial phone numbers. Each time it was "Bridget" wanting to lower my interest rate.  They even had the nerve to spoof my own number.  I was calling me!!!!  No, it was Bridget.  This  is why you can not block these numbers.  And when you call the spoofed numbers back, the person whose number it belongs to have no idea about this.   This is not illegal yet.  There is no law against using these spoof cards.  We all need to complain for a law to be written.

That's funny, I have not had any problems blocking any numbers on my call blocking device.
