I received a call from this number today telling me I had won a grant for $7000. When I asked what it was for I was told that I was selected back in December from a drawing of 1700 people. He then askes how I wanted the money deposited. I refused to provide my bank or any card numbers. He then offered to send me a card and asked about my mailing address and quotes me an old mailing address of mine from about 4 years ago. I told him I no longer lived there and he then askes for my current address. I told him before I give him that information I wanted him to tell me what my last name was. I told him since he worked for the government and I had been selected then he must know my last name. He told me he didn't have that information and I then told him I believed that this was a scam and hung up on him.

So did anything happened after u verified ur information.

I received the same call.If you were to get money, it should be free, it never takes money 2 get $.Ths is a scam never give info.

Constant calling, a lawsuit is going to be filed against me so I needed to call back immediately, do not disregard this call!    This is some sort of criminal stuff and needs to be stopped.

i just got the call,so i looked it up and hey ,i found u guys . so i called the number back ,and told him ive just called you from my computer,i have your ip address,and im a unemployed computer geek,and im am going to blaze you,my freinds and i are going to hack,search and destroy your link. he said this is the grants department,and i said funny i called the number 4 times and maybe 1 out of ten people answering,might be pakastani ,but not every time........He hung up

Called by 202-621-0546 that claimed the IRS was filing a law suit against me and to return the call immediately.  I did not. So not sure what their "act" was or what they were going to ask me for - I also filed a complaint with the FTC.  If this has been going on since 2014 - makes you wonder how the FTC is doing?
