I got a cll from a 214 # , then was told to call a 315 #
She told me to go to Wester union and give a security deposit of 310.00 and i would get it back in 15min, it was to verify  my ID . also get 7000.00 . I don't know about this but I told them tomorrow , so I called back and it sounded like a cell message not a landline at 8:12 am ???????  # is 315-636-5329 . I have been gettin phone calls from the same number for a couple of days  now it's a 6 digit number that you can not call back so i finally said I was gonna hear them out and they told me the I was one of the 15000 thousand students that were chosen in the united states to receive a grant from the government for 7000 and he told me to call his manger her number was 202 470 3455 and I had to give her my code he gave me witch was nk717 both of them sounded Indian witch I thought was kind of weird but I listened to her and she told me that I could give her my account info or get cash so I was like yeah I want cash and he's like go to the nearest western union and send 260 to India for a charity and then you can get your money and I asked her if I could get the grant first then the money she said no because she can not deduct it from the grant blah blah so I I decided to entertain my self and I told her I was gonna go the the western and send that money right away and she told me to call from the same number and to call her and talk to while I'm sending the money witch was fishy so I told her that was fine I told my boyfriend to call the number he did and she hung up on him and then he called back and she answered again and a guy in the back round kept saying who is it.so I called her back pretending I was at western union and I was sending the money she gave me the info and then I told her that I know it's a scam and that the police department knows about this abd she said I can't talk to you and hung up ! Watch out don't fall for it

i just recieved this call about the $7000 grant they wanted me to send a western union of 330$ and i would get the money back when they sent the $7000 the # is from manson, OH (513) 492-9588 and dc (202) 580-8349

A guy called me yesterday afternoon n said the same thing that i earn  7000 and me not knowing about the scam gave him my credit card no. Lucky me i don't have money in the bank. I also have him my address. what should i do? Can some one please tell me What should i do?

I got a call stating once in a lifetime grant for &k.  i need to donate $250.00 of my own funds,

I got the same call today saying that since I paid my taxes and didn't have a criminal background that I was selected to receive a $7,000 grant that I wouldn't have to pay taxes on, that I could use it however I want but not on anything illegal. She wanted my bank account number and said it would deposited in my account in 45 minutes. I didn't give them any of my information. It did feel fishy and wrong. And she insisted several times. After I asked several times for her name and a phone number to call back, she finally said her name was Stacy Hill and her personal # was 202-499-1468. Not a business number or employee number. These people are scammers and want your money. I called the FTC [1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357)] immediately after hanging up.

i received a call from sam masoni he said that i was picked to get 7800 dollars but i needed to get a security deposit 225.00 and i would get it back within 15 mins of recievin the grant money the dude gave me mt file number a 202 area code number and the address 200 independence blvd (something like that) washington dc anf zip code i called the number he gave me they answered the phone us department fund human services i dont know what to do any help brittaniejackson@rocketmail.com  he wouldnt take the credit card over phone didnt ask for my 9 didgit ss number didnt ask for no personal info please help if this is a scam i wanna take these people down

I got a call saying that I'm going to receive 7000 but I had to.sent 250 first me like a dumb ass I did it n I didn't get nothing

that idiot said i was chosen because i pay my taxes and blah blah blah but i'm 3 yrs behind on my taxes

I got a call from this number befor n didnt follow threw.so they call me again and tell me if im playing games. Y am I [***] with the government he sais...i was like f u man ur not from the govrnment his reply was im going to kick yr [***]...lol so I just told him off he was furious at what I told him and he hung up

I actually received a call from an unknown number telling me that i was going to get $7000 from the US Gov. I instantly was suspicious. She said that i had been paying my taxes and had no criminal record and that's why i was receiving the money... but the only way to receive the money was by direct deposit to my bank account  or to my visa or MasterCard credit card or by cash. Asked for a check and she said that they couldn't send checks anymore and sorry for the inconvenience. I told her to just send it to my home address which she already had. Then she told me to call 206.317.1343 and that Michelle Smith would confirm my order and i would get the money. I called the number and i got the message "The person your trying to reach is unavailable. Please leave a message"  what a total scam!

I have the same call today and says u have been choose and get a fedral govt grant for non criminal history and what u have to do go to the western union or post office to pay $ 290 to some sort of UNICEF account that's a charity it's straight goes to that charity company and let me know when u do that so we can give a 10 digit no and u go to ur bank and give it ur manager and he ill issue a cheque of $. 7000 .

These people crazy.. They called me and said the same type of stuff.. They won'td me to go to western union  and pay $260 for a transaction fee and for charity.. I be Damn if they get anything.. Don't fall for it people..

I just Started getting the calls, Used HR Block and Amazon, nothing else this year

Today I was called to say that I am being awarded a grant of $7,000 because I pay my taxes (not---my husband does...I work part time and no taxes are taken out), have not declared bankruptcy nor do I have a criminal record.   Hmmmm...they seemed to know my name, address and phone number...asked me how I wanted my money.  Of course I said, "cash"...so I had to call back (209)813-2426, I received a confirmation number and to talk to the supervisor.  When I called back it wasn't a good time for them, so 30 minutes later I called and it was busy, busy, then they picked up and a different person talked with me.  There was much noise on the line both times.  But they said I would be getting a check mailed to me tomorrow.
OK...we'll see.  Oh, they also asked me if I worked, I told them part time and they said, "Good".  Probably so I can be good for that check.  Hmmm. Said they were from the federal government...even though they sounded like a Bombay call center.

so i jsut got a call saying the same as everyone elses but i asked them to send it in a form of a check or a gift card and they hung up on me its a scam. you get nothing free from anyone so dont trust it! i cant believe ppl would actually believe them and gie out their personal info

I had a same call from a unknow#, he said his from US Federal Gov Grant i was selected for a $7000 free grant money, his name was Williams Pattersen he ask me how i want my money to sent to me by wire Western Union or bank acct, told him send it by Western Union so he ask me to call his Finance Manager and give him the Grant confirmation ID #AG705 to verify im the right person, this person Williams Pattersen has all my information i dont how he got it, and aslo he gave me the phone# to call (202)657-5552 but i need to call him right away after i hang up with him, so i called the # he provided but no answer only recording comes on...
