You were in the process of setting up an account and you received a verification code from them?  How does that equate to your phone being "hacked"?

I bought a new phone and got a new number, Samsung alerted me with a text of a new sign in. It was the 1st week of my purchase. That was in 2023. I'm still extremely suspicious, however I changed my password ASAP.

Unknown spam caller

According to a post on a robo blocking site this caller claims to be Best US  Pharmacy about medications.  The site has a full transcript of the call.

I got the Galaxy S9 tablet, no SIM card, yet, but set up tab with my Motorola cell phone. I didn't like the permissions the tab REQUIRED for me to set it up.  But an acquaintance set it up quickly, and then my phone receives a text about a passcode to finish setup.  The code worked, but now I am thinking about starting over, that it is a scam... There aren't any satisfying answers.
