    Scammers ignoring the Do Not Call registry and claiming they are part of a "program" to lower gas bills.  When asked for identity, they hang up.  I'm not naive, so I realize that there will always be bottom feeders like this, staffed by losers who can't hold a real job.  But why isn't the government making a real attempt to shut these scumbags down?

    This caller is calling my home office line multiple times a week and thgen they just hang up - I am registered on the do not call list - Please make them stop - it interferes with my work and is a huge annoyance.

    They call her all the time leave no message caller id says out of area if you call back says all circuits are busy. Probably scammers they certainly do not abide by DO NOT CALL LIST.

    pressed 5 to talk to a person since pressing 3 the last 5 times to opt out did not work..after a cherry friendly greeting from the persob I told her to take my name off the list and she got all snotty with a remark and hung up on me..wish I had my air horn handy because next time I will wait for the greeting then blow it...I am  getting sick of registering complaints every day with do not call...I am starting to wonder if anyone even reads the messages people send!

    its 2pm and I've already gotten 5 calls from these "change your utility" turkeys. This has been going on EVERY day for the past 3 weeks or so. And they are always different numbers. Its out of control

    Keep calling multiple times a day.  Just opted out by calling number; says it will take 24 - 72 hours to remove.  We'll see what happens

    This is an energy broker (who won't identify themselves) who is trying to get you to switch gas & electric providers.  I receive 7-10 calls per day from this and other numbers, and I, too, am on the Do Not Call Registry.  Sometimes they call me about my "current bill with PSEG".  Sometimes they call me about my "current bill with JCPL".  That should tell you something.

    When you try to talk to a rep to get your number removed, they will ask for your account number.

    NEVER GIVE ANY ACCOUNT NUMBER OR EVEN YOUR NAME TO ANYONE COLD CALLING YOU.  ANY LEGITIMATE COMPANY THAT YOU ALREADY DO BUSINESS WITH ALREADY HAS YOUR NAME AND ACCOUNT NUMBERS, AND WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO PROVIDE THESE THINGS.  IF SOMEONE ASKS YOU FOR THIS TYPE OF INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE, IT IS A SCAM.

    Furthermore, whoever these people are, they at times try to misrepresent themselves as PSEG or JCPL to gain your trust (they are NOT PSEG or JCPL; again, they refuse to identify who they are).

    This is a shady scam.  As of last week (week ending August 18, 2012), they were robo dialing people using 973-1XX-XXXX and 732-1XX-XXXX phone numbers.  Phone numbers where the prefix starts with a 1 (example 973-158-9945) are not legitimate phone numbers).  After I posted this complaint on all of the prefix-1 phone numbers listed below, they started robo dialing people using other phone numbers such as this 206-445-6112 phone number.  When you try to call this number yourself, all you get is a busy signal.

    Obviously, this is not a legitimate company if they are using deceitful practices to get around the Do Not Call Registry, misrepresenting themselves as PSEG or JCPL, and don't even have legitimate phone numbers.

    Tired of these calls
    Received a call from "Roger" at 206-445-6112, claiming that they can lower my electric bill.  All I have to do is to give them information about my electric service provider that is on my bill.  When he asked who he was speaking to, I asked him what company I was speaking to, and why they needed my electric bill information.  He said that it was a "bad connection" and would have to call me back.  I do enjoy messing with these people.......scammers!

    I get calls from these animals every day as well.  
    They need to stop, someone report them.
    You call back and you get a fake opt out message, they use your number to call you more.
    This organization is vicious and will not personally pick up the phone.
