It is illegal what these scammers are doing. They are not google nor do they work for them, they scam businesses out of money claiming they can get you on the front page of google, and they do not properly identify themselves or their company.

Called.  No message.    Added to phone's contact list as telemarketer based upon the information provided here.  Silent ringtone/reject list applied, so no more interruptions from this number.
I saw the discussion regarding the do not call list.  Contact your legislators, as our lawmakers saw fit to leave too many loopholes in that law:  Doesn't apply to business lines,   Doesn't apply to charity solicitations.  "Do not call" should mean "do not call".    There is no good reason for the exemptions (I don't think that campaign contributions by special interests constitute good reasons).

It's not a Google. It's a company claiming they work with Google to "update your listing".

This company keep calling and no one answer

Our first call from this phone number.  
However, their call was BLOCKED BEFORE THEY ROBODIALED OUR OFFICE!
This is our second telemarketer/criminal call of the day from Washington State and it's only 11am.  The first call came from the 253 area code - also blocked.
We have EVERY AREA CODE from Washington state BLOCKED.  
It doesn't matter what phone number they call from - if they call from a Washington state area code -THEY ARE BLOCKED - BLOCKED FOREVER!

Got a call from this # and 816-555-7777 the day after I put my mobile # on Google+.

Obviously a scammer. They always do not answer if you are a business and hang up.

They keep calling and I tell them to stop calling me, and they call and call and call again, these are scam artists looking to rip you off trying to fool you.

Got a call from this number 5/22/14.  Didn't leave a message.  We are on the do not call registry.  Why do we keep being bombarded with these calls?  Quit calling.

Really tired of this idiot calling at 5:57 to 5:59 pm..  I close at 6:00
It does not speak.  Does not respond, at all.  Now it calls a prepaid-cell and costs me money each time it calls that phone, as I pay whether I block the call or if I answer.  That is really ticking me off.  And I am sure they got the number from someone trying to collect a debt from whomever owned the cell-number (if they gave the correct number, even).  I have phoned back to some of these debt collectors, asked them to remove my number, as it is new. They have acted responsibly, but now that the number has been sold to idiots like this google-scam, I don't think these idiots will stop.

It has gone on for a very long time and I am sick of this-  I understand it is illegal to call prepay-cells, but they don't seem to care.  They'll never get caught because they steal others' numbers to work from.  It is insane.

We received numerous calls from Washington State over a year ago.  We bought the Digitone call blocker (over a year ago) and immediately BLOCKED ALL AREA CODES in Washington State.  
Yes, they can change phone numbers, but if they call from Washington state - THEY ARE BLOCKED!
Today, we also received a call from 253 236-2558 - another Washington State area code - BLOCKED!

Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in.
