Recording stated it was the son of Ronald Regan. How'd they get my cell number?

Got called 3 times; didn't leave a message; tried to call back and found out it is a Verizon number in Couer d' Alene, Idaho.

This will be blamed on 'extreme right wingers' and such.  I'm thinkin' a setup here...  This apparently has just started within the last 12 hours from now, 3:20EDT 4/16/10.  Left no message, possibly opportunists wanting to cash in on Tea Party movement.

I got the same call: however, I did not answer it because of the unknown number.  They did not leave a message.

Call was not answered, did not leave a message, when attempt was made to return call was notified by Verizon that it could not be called using the call back feature.

THIS NUMBER CALLED MY CELL ALL ID STATED WAS IDAHO. THEY DID NOT LEAVE MSG. HOW DID THEY GET MY CELL NUMBER. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK (SEVERAL TIMES) ALL I COULD GET WAS A BUSY SIGNAL.

I just got it on my cell phone and my daughter had it on hers also. When she answered it said he was the oldest son of Ronald Reagan (that should be clarified as the "adopted" son of Ronald Reagan). On mine I didn't answer it and they said it was a public service call and they may call back again. I do NOT care to hear from Michael Reagan in any way shape or manner. These calls need to be made illegal. WE pay for the service, they don't.

just got the call @ 4:11pm ET, did not recognize so did not answer, no message left.  This is a great sight, thanks for the info.  :)

Just received the same call at 4:14 EST...no VM and Verizon cannot complete the call..etc.

Received call at 4:29.  Tried to call back.  Said call could not be completed, call again.  I have received these calls before but have not called back.  I'm on the "no call" list so how did they get my cell number and how do I stop the calls?

Received a call a few days ago, did not answer, returned call but got a busy signal. How did they get my number????

Caller ID display: RSPNS2010RSRCH.
Sounds like an abbreviation for "response 2010 R  search".
Maybe R stands for republican. I didn't pick up the phone.

let answer machine get it.Asked if i think Barack Obama is doing a good job.More propaganda from right wing tea party idiots.

Rec'd call for the first time just now, 4/19/10 11:25 CDT with Caller ID: RSPNS2010RSRCH.  Left the following msg on voice mail:  "This is a public survey call.  We may call back later.  Thank you."   Calling the number back resulted in fast busy.

Just got the same message

I received the call and they left a recorded message asking if I think the President is doing a good job.  This is a front for political pick pocketing, I mean fund raising.  I tried calling them back to tell them to stop calling but only a fast busy signal.  I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.
