Got this automated call today at 12:43 PM CDT.  Asked if I thought Barack Obama was doing a good job.  I just hung up.  Obviously some type of scam.  The morons that set up and make these calls should be sent to jail for aggravated mopery... LOL

Just  received call left message on answering machine. They want to know if Obama is a good president and this was a public survey call and they might call back later.

Got a call from this number (208 758 0219) on my cell phone at 10.33am and they didn't leave a message.

It bothers me because my cell phone is a blocked number and nobody should have access to it. I will try to call from a public phone later today and see what happens.

Caller ID: "Couer D Alen ID" 208.758.0219.
received call at my 312 phone number from an organization calling itself "Illinois
Family Action." Details I jotted down immediately after the call (I did not get exact wording).

African American male voice. Asked if I was likely to vote for Quinn for IL governor.
Then asked several conservative-slanted questions on my support for school choice, opinion of potential Quinn veto of school choice bill, IL income tax hike, and support for gay unions/marriage and Don't Ask
Don't Tell repeal, describing the terrible places it means gays in the military will be allowed (including "barracks, showers"); then asked if I was more likely to support Brady now.

Asked at end if I was: male, over 50, pro-life, and said name of sponsoring organization, "Illinois Family Action," and gave a 708 phone number that I didn't catch.

Caller ID said "Couer D Alen ID 208.758.0219" (surely this is Couer D'Alene Idaho) I get a lot of
conservative-slanted calls from Idaho area code numbers for some reason, so I think this was more likely a fire-up-the-base call than anything actually intended to change minds. In any case, I'm on the do not call list and reported them as always, the chumps.

Received same call atr 1:33 CDT.  Did not answer.  No Message.

My daughter and I just started getting these calls on 4/17. Are you all Verizion customers??
They call me first then my 12 year old daughter within the next min.

Left a VM stating that "This is a Public Survey call, we may call back later" Reporting # to Do Not Call Registry.

Today (April 19, 2010) at 4:04 pm Eastern I received the same message as Brad v. did on April 19, 2010.

"Rec'd call for the first time just now, 4/19/10 11:25 CDT with Caller ID: RSPNS2010RSRCH.  Left the following msg on voice mail:  'This is a public survey call.  We may call back later.  Thank you.'"

The only difference was that my caller ID read, "Coeur D Alen ID."  It did not have the string of letters and numbers like Brad v's.

i recived the call today when i was at scool. i came home and saw it and i didnt reconize the number. they did not leave a message and when i looked online a bunch of people got a call from this number.

i do not have verison. i have t-mobile.

by ur name i am guessing u live in chicago. i do too. wonder if everyone who got the call lives in chicago.

I keep getting a call from this person asking about a survey. I told them I would have them arrested for Harassment and they stopped calling!!!

LOL! After reading these comments I wish I would have answered the darn phone!  I thought maybe it had to do with the census, but I think not. If it was a survey about POTUS then I'd say, why not just post your approval or disapproval of him right here?! Either way, they're not making any friends by calling unlisted phone numbers.

Got this call on my landline. Same bit about 'public opinion survey, may call back again later'. I, like several others live in IL and am on the DNC list so I'll make a complaint but I don't think the DNC applies to political organizations or charities.

I answered, but then hung up.  The only thing I heard was, "Do you think President Obama is doing a good job?"  That's when I hung up.  It came in on my home home.  Caller ID listed it as:
RSPNS2010RSRCH.  I assume that means Response 2010 Reseach?
