For those who think these political survey calls are illegal if you signed up for the National Do Not Call list... read your agreement again...

Our politicians (who supposedly represent us since we pay their salaries) created an exemption for charities and a loophole for themselves.  

We tried to tell them "Don't call us, We'll call you", but if you' tried to call your representatives in the last year, you've probably learned the hard way that they aren't listening and they don't care what you have to say unless you're calling to send them more of your money.

Although SURVEYS are exempt - they are still required to stop calling you and put you on THEIR DO NOT CALL LIST.

But you have to answer the PHONE and TELL THEM to PUT YOU ON THEIR DO NOT CALL LIST!

In a south suburb of Chicago.I got a call from this number on 4-19-2010.It was a survey about a local state senator who is also the leader of a really large church and his wanting vouchers for schools.The survey also asked how I felt about gays, from them serving in the military, and that they'd be in the showers and foxholes, to civil unions.Also about a state income tax hike and would I support the Dem who wants taxes or the R who doesn't.

Got the same call as everyone else, but on my home phone as well as my cell. Did not answer. Will not answer.

Got the call from this number 3 times.  Two in the mornings and one after 7pm.  Call the number back on my home phone and it was not able to connect.

recieved a call (for the second time) from this number.  Recorded message says it is Mike Huckabee.  Proceeds  with survey questions, which come after making false statements about the health bill and abortion.  Apparently they won't accept "you're a lying s*%$t" as an answer so I disconnected.

Got a call from this number just before lunchtime today.  As my nickname says, I NEVER answer the phone unless I know the person calling.  If they call multiple times, I block their number.  The call-blocking phone is the best investment I ever made!  

I am on the "do not call" list but that means NOTHING to anyone (especially big banks) as I have received just short of 1,500 calls since registering.  The bottom line is that no-one calling my phone will ever get answered.  

If EVERYONE didn't answer unwanted calls, that would be much more effective than the "do not call" registry!  How long do you think the callers would get paid for dialing unanswered calls all day?  Think about it!

I am on the do not call list - but yet I keep get survey calls.  This one is to see if I think Obama is doing a good job.    STOP CALLING ME

got a call from this number, asking me if I thought Obama was doing a good job. lol. Trick question. :)

I'm in the NW Chicago suburbs. Got the call(s) at 11:08 this morning simultaneously on both my Line 1 and Line 2 Comcast house phones, both of which are unlisted. Caller ID said "Coeur D Alen ID". I was busy and couldn't answer so voice mail got same message as posted in the above comments from each of the calls, "Do you think President Obama is doing a good job as President? This is a public service call. We may call you back later. Thank you." The next time they call on both lines I'll conference Line 1 on to Line 2 and let them survey each other. And YES, President Obama IS doing a good job!

The message on the machine said they were from research company and wanted to get my opinion of how I thought B.O. was doing - they don't really want me to tell them, do they?  I'm on the "do not call" list so after the second call, I blocked the number from my phone.

Have received call from this number five times in the past week.  My voicemail caller ID states missed call from Recording - Registered to Vote?  There is no voicemail was left

received six to eight calls from the number this week, RSPNS2010RSRCH on caller ID. Odd that the message/survey never starts by the time I hang up.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number at 3:22pm 4/21/2010.
Message stated it was a public survey. Tried to call back and received message; all circuits are busy.
