Just keep getting this phone call sometime 4 time per day

Bought a Defense Call Blocker---$38 (Sears)  easy to plug into  landline.  Holds 1200 blocked numbers---filling up rapidly!  Great satisfaction when one pushes the red "blacklist" button and it "saves" the number.  Of course, "they" just get another unlisted number and keep trying.
After reading above remarks, grateful I didn't answer. Thanks for input.

Well, previous posts indicate it is the "government grant scam."  The best thing to do is invest in a call blocker for your landline and a call blocking app for your cell.  Here's the 800notes forum on call blockers

These people are criminals.  Keep them out of your house by ignoring and blocking their calls.

They keep calling and never leave a message. They call dailey. Wish they would stop. I WISH THEY WOULD STOP!!!!!!

Called landline again at 8pm. CID displayed TEXAS. Left no message. We screen all calls and NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call. They are attempting to prey on the gullible, vulnerable, undereducated, senior, etc. population that they can victimize. ( profit from personal information and part you from your money) It obviously works or there would not be so many of these calls. Beware and don't be scammed!!

Today at 3:39 pm but blocked by my blocking service.  That's a lot of pages of complaints!

This time the Indian guy claimed to be from iYogi, my computer service in India.  He said his name is John.  If his name is John, my name is Gupta.  He could not answer any of the questions I asked him about iYogi.  He wanted to control my computer.  THIS IS A SCAM!

Called today. One ring. Area code is blocked.

I got several missed calls from this number, no VMessages. Reading here, i'm glad i missed them, blocking number now!

They called today, but I long ago blocked their number.  Under 20 seconds later I received a call from "Invalid TN".  I am sure it's them.  Persistent pests.

I never answer calls from unknown numbers.  These calls go to voice mail.  These criminals only let the phone ring 3 or 4 times and then they hung up.  The call never had a chance to go to voice-mail, so no message was left.   BLOCKED

No message left and they hung up.  Who knows but from posts it could be just about anybody.  Lotta fake calls
from Texas.  Deleted.

This person called my# on Thanksgiving day and said he had information regarding my computer. Well, I have no computer! End of call. Usually, I don't answer calls that I don't know but this person was calling my# 24/7 and I had to know what they wanted.

Keeps calling. When answered just hear music playing. Must be a scam

Apparently this number is back in action. Called today, ID Texas, left no message. Other sites have this number listed as a scam. So, it's blocked.
