I want the phone calls to stop.

This man called inda desent, talk very very bad. You must get him off the phones.
He said the worse things, I every heard before. He is damageous, and maybe be a sex
offenders.

This is a man calling, about a approve car loan. He is a sex offender. The police needs
to stop this person.

Called me and asked for the owner of my business (self -employed).. wanted to set up a yellow pages entry so needed to confirm my number. When I said I'm not interested for the 4th time, she hung up.

Called asking for my diseased husband.  Told her he passed on and she then said - "I said Mrs. ------"  Asked why she was calling and she said something about diabetes.  Told her I don't have that problem, and she hung up.   And yes, could just about understand her accent!!

Just got a call like everyone else.  She said she was from some Collection Agency in Washington, DC.  I asked her how she can be in DC when the Caller ID said TX.  She hung up.  Tried calling back.  "Call cannot be completed as dialed."  I'm even on the "Do not call" list.  Let's see if they call back.  I'll threaten them with harrassment lawsuit.

I got a call from them and they are suppose to be United travel services ( in florida ) and they are travel orginizer.  They called me to offer a package for disney and they asked for my visa...I'm dealing with them but not sure if I was a fool for some scam...( the tel # they use to get to them is 1-888-843-5637

This number calls me and when i answer they wait 10 seconds or so and then say goodbye and hang up on me. i have no idea who is calling or why.

I havea received five calls today from 210-280-8487, and all were hangup calls. They may be from a Verizon subsidiary in Texas. When I return the call I get a message to recheck my no.

Have received several calls from this number.  I usually just ignore them because they don't leave a message or identify themselves.  The one time I did pick up the phone there was about 15 seconds of silence and then I hung up.

Hung up on 3rd ring. Caller ID says San Antonio, TX. No idea who this is since they hung up too quickly.

Im in Canada, like northern Canada and these people are from apparently Texas and they called me :$

this number just called twice, the caller i.d sait texas, they just stood quiet and then hanged up the second time a man with an accent started talking amd i just hanged up

I have the same problem... I'm in Canada too and  received a call from this number... But we can't stop it beause it comes from USA :S

I had a missed call from 210-280-8487. I returned the call and someone told me I was eligible for a free $7,000 grant from the government. Sounded real fake, so I mentioned I just saw the news this morning and the government is broke and, therefore, how can they be giving me $7,000 when they have no money?

The con man on the other end, who spoke broken English said - OK then you don't want the $7,000 and hung up. It must be a scam that is going around from the looks of the other blogs here.

They have called several times while I was at work.

This time, however, I was home on vacation and answered.
He asked for me and I asked who it was. He said "av" and asked if I were ____ (me basically). I didn't confirm who I was and just asked who he was and he repeated "av". So when he asked if I were _____ I told him that I didn't know anyone named "av" and hung up. An hour later this number called again but when I answered this time, no one replied. I told them to stop harassing my phone number or I would be contacting the police.

Like everyone else I get a phone call from this number about 3 times a day, rediculous and annoying. Thank you all for all your information, very helpful. I have never picked up this # but it is good to know what they might be offering me and defintately not interested in giving out my CC #.

Called here and asked for my adult daughter who does not reside here. Caller said she was from MicroSoft, and that my computer had identified that it was having problems. Wanted me to connect and give remote access to"Verify the problems and allow them to fix issues." NFW!
