received a call nobody answered

The number just called our house. knowing about these scammer [***], we didnt answer. i've grown tired of random spam calls so i decided to search the # on the internet. they only called once so far and they havent tried calling back. when i tried to call the number back, rotten silence. not even a ring or or answering machine, just silence. plz post if you have any more info on these clowns.

Notice the number - after the first digit, it's 123456789.  It's obviously a fake generator somehow.

They knew my name but it sounded like phone solicitations so I hung up immediately - a sales call knowing my name seems really creepy.

Received a call from 212-345-6789 yesterday. The man asked if I was Mrs. T, I said no. He asked if there was a better time to call, I said no again. He then got very angry and demanded that I give him a time to call back as he was from Primus and had important information for Mrs. T. After telling him no numerous times, while he yelled at me, he finally hung up. I immediately called the number back and got a message stating that this was fraudulent and to contact Phone Busters. I called and ended up lodging a complaint online.

About 10 minutes ago I received another call from 312-345-6789. Again I said Mrs. T. was not in and that they could not call back. The woman got quite upset with me so I told her that I had received the call yesterday and that I had already reported them to the RCMP. She thanked me for my time, told me to have a nice day, and hung up.

just got the call. thought is somebody phishing for personnel information and slammed the phone in the guys ear

Just ignore all ###-345-6789. I will never understand, why the companies like Primus thinks by annoying all protential customers is a GREAT marketing tool!!!?

This phone number is not from Primus but is being used as a scam.. If you call that number bell canada tells you to call phonebusters to report it

This number showed up on mi caller ID as coming from New York. I answered because I do receive business calls from NY sometimes. The person asked for me by name. He said his name was "Mark" and was calling for discounted long distance rates. I answered that I am not interested and hung up.
I got caller ID and it is invaluable to weed out unwanted calls. Now I know about this one.

Calls fron New York State selling Canadian products especially Hudson' Bay products plus many others.

I get calls from this number on a regular basis. Does anyone know how to end the harrassment?

Just got a call from 212-345-6789 AGAIN! The 8th time in the past couple weeks! I'm from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

I got a call from this # too! i picked it up and nobody answered so i hanged up... soo weird.  I believe the company will go down very soon because they are always trying to earn something by making others unhappy. The people who work for this kind of company will have bad future due to the same reason.

I just got a call from them too, with nobody at the other end. Rather expensive for them to make calls and not at least try to sell something. I'm in Regina, Saskatchewan.

I get this number calling almost everyday but I won't answer because it looks too suspicious, with numbers like 234 5678, I figured it had to be a telemarketer. After so many calls I decided to google the area code and found this site which had lots of info. So, now I know who it is and I will not answer it. but I am glad I found this site.

2123456789...got this phone call this morning and had accidentally picked it up.  Was in fact, Primus.  Let the man talk.  Then told him I wasn't interested.  He said, and rudely I might add, that he wasn't selling me anything, but that he was saving me money!  I politely, and thickly poured the sugar on, said..."Yes, sir, I understand that, and I thank you for your time (drip, drip, drip, lol), but I am not interested.  Have a nice day!"  Then a pause and then I said, "Okay, bye!" Click! :)
My worry is, now that I have answered the phone, the calling won't stop, regardless of my telling them no! lol.

I've just receive my Bell account and in it I have freight of almost 2$ for this phone number (212-345-6789).  But I've never call this phone number.  

I remember answer to a phone number but nobody was talking.  Be carefull....

Recieved call on May 8 at 2:28 p.m. Called back the number today , recieved a message stating that this is a non working number and "they" (Who are "they" I don't know, assuming there are the phone provider Verizon)are aware that this number has been falsely used to make phone call to residents in Canada. Advises to call Phonebusters at 888-495-8501. Called Phonebusters but office was closed.
