Called my cell, I ignored it as unknown # & no message left. I'm on the do not call list.

I bought an OOMA about 18 months ago, and I pay only $3.50 for my land line now. and no solicitations as it is a new number!

Scam!  Threatening automated voice from "my" credit card company, last chance to fix an issue.  So I pressed one to speak with a representative.  I asked the rep why they were calling me when I don't have any credit cards, they guy began yelling at me so I yelled back.  After I had some fun with him, I hung up.

Just another scammer! BLOCKED the number!

Rec'd call - no message.

Rang my cell a few hours ago.  Didn't answer as I know no one in this area code and "Name Unknown" appears on ID.  No voice mail left.  From previous posts, sounds like the old Credit Card Services telemarketing scam.

Pain keeps calling and hanging up.No message, just hangs up.

Got a call from this number, did not answer and no message was left. Did come through as a New York phone number.

"Hi this is an important message regarding your current credit card account. We have made several attempts to reach you this is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your cre dit card interest rate. Press one to speak to the member services department or press two and your eligibility to lower your rates will expire."

I guess they assume that everybody must have at least one credit card, so they'll assume it's their own credit card company calling because the message never said which one.  (A dead give-away.)  The other dead give-away is that legitimate calls about finances cannot be discussed without making sure you are the account holder (answering "security questions" etc).  Since my cell-phone voice-mail does not identify me by name, but just repeats my phone number -- and none of my credit card companies knows my cell-phone number....  Gee, ya think it might be a scam?  LOL

They're at it again this morning. Added to the special contact where scammers go to never be answered.

Callback leads to Verizon cellphone with full voicemail box.  Typical of scammer calls.

I don't know this number, so I don't answer. they don't leave a message.

Caller ID says Robert Purdy. No idea who that is.

Called my work cell.  No caller id, just the phone number showed.  Tried to send the auto reply,"I cant take this call" msg and received a msg in return that it was a land line.  No voice mal left for me.  Will block number.

Picked up by accident, auto voice start talking something about credit card, hung up immediately and blocked them

Caller ID said "PURDY, ROBERT" with this - long distance to me - number.  Don't know this 'person' so let it go to ans. machine.  Of course no message.  Three months, 8 pages of complaints here.  Time for the government to intervene.  EVERYONE needs to file a complaint with the DNC list, not just here, in order for that to happen.

Still at it, 3/29/16; 6:42PM.  "ROBERT PURDY" on Caller ID.  Know no one with that name or area code, so let it go to ans. machine; I was spared the message/speil,  Looked it up here; BLOCKED it already.  He must be related to "KENNETH BROWN" who is always trying to 'fix' my computer!  LOL

It's a scam.  Trying to get your credit card info.  You can tell because it's a recorded message that plays saying it's your credit card company.  If it was legit they would identify which bank they are calling from, i.e. Bank of America, Chase, etc.
Just hang up.
