How do you call someone that doesn't exist? There is no Bex Davies or Rebecca Davies or anyone with the last name Davies at GDS, nor was there ever...

Bex... that is such a load of rubbish... this company is the furthest thing from flexible...

And the Lifetime mini series you outlined above is so far from believable, I can't help but laugh. Stick to lying on the telephone, you're much better at that Davis.

And again, no one named Bex Davies works at GDS...

Idea: They have a bunch of Meettheboss.com videos up on YouTube, paste this link:
    http://twitpic.com/ekroo

proof of meet the boss fraud on all the reviews. So when people google it, the videos will pop up with the reviews and people will it for the scam it is...

Apparently some of the people they interviewed and put on the meettheboss.com website were duped and didn't know they were using it for this purpose...

Can one of the many muppets on here (aka. the people who got fired from GDS and are bitter) please explain to me why they continue to work with large multi nationals regularly? I mean surley, if it were a scam of any kind then this wouldn't happen... Or is it that you are deluded and trying to get smoke without any fire?

On another note what about those Red Socks?

doesnt take a genius replies to please explain

Also, It's easy to do this with a multinational. Multi national's have such high turn over in their marketing departments, and often they have excess budget they need to spend. Many times they don't expect returns from these types of initiative that are quantifiable.

In addition, with a huge company like, say Microsoft, it's so huge with many many departments, that one department isn't necessarily aware of the next departments activities.

In short, you objection is naive, and your understanding of multi national organizations is minimal.

The funny thing is, no matter who is right or who is wrong, Joe Large has made it clear that he is a representative of the company.

Thanks for your contributions Mr. Large, and showing us all how ridiculous GDS is and the people who work there.

    Ex GDSer replies to DM
The publications do not go out to anyone! I personally stood by while the Management at this "firm" insisted on charging an employee to send a client a copy of the publication that he had paid thousands to advertise in!

GDS is a scam to say the least, and I hope they finally get what they deserve!

As for the sex discrimination case at hand, I am not surprised, because when I was there, the male employees passed around nude female photos on their camera phones and loudly would brag like little boys at last nights gossip!

Needless to say I got out, and now work in a real office environment which does not revolve around which bar everyone will be drinking at come 5pm.

    Happily EX-Employee
I used to work there and that place makes me want to puke in my mouth every time I think about it.

"BPA audited" -- They'll tell you they audit their circulation and when you ask for proof they will email you a list the CEO personally made up. It's totally fake. It's practically the circulation for TIME magazine.

It's true this place is Boiler Room ... crap they used to take our chairs away from us for hours at a time so we could pitch on our feet. Management felt we pulled in more deals that way. One of my managers did a line of coke under our desk just before 5pm one Friday. And yes to naked photos of girls being passed around ... sad thing is some of those girls WORKED there and were taken advantage of. I'm pretty sure the CEO was f'king the receptionist at one point. We would get half days as long as the half day we were allowed off was spent with the company at a bar getting smashed watching some soccer (football) tournament. Who does that?

They might "own" 40+ publications but that's about the only legit thing about this entire company. They swindle Marketing VP's and SVP's and CEO out of THOUSANDS (we got great paychecks) and then print enough magazines to send to the advertisers. No one ever got one in the mail.

Anyone know what GDS stands for? I bet the sales rep said "Global Development Systems" or something to that effect. HA NO. It's the CEO's initials backward. This place is a crock of [***], I wish I had the guts to sue then when I worked there.

Crpl.Joseph Large actually works in the Cardiff Office. Joe Large is a good lad who constantly gets mimicked by the other employees in a bullying fashion. School mentality is high on the agenda in the Cardiff office, which proves most employees have never worked in the real world! It is not Joe Large posting on this site just somebody else in the office still being childish...

In all fairness, he did seem like a genuinely nice bloke. Not brash or arrogant at all.

The Cardiff office is like being in sixth form, many an occasion people have deliberately made a point of turning their heads away or down after making eye contact, pathetic [***]!
