So just a quick post.  Not sure if any of you have heard but the good old Aussies have done it again.  After nicking the business of GDS a while back and setting up their own company the Aussies have been showing the other offices how its done when the came back to GDS last year.  Spence invested in a Sydney office to set Ty and his team up and the results were good.  Unfortunately for Spence a leopard doesn't change its spots and they have done it again, nicking all the new clients from the last few months and going it alone.  An emergency meeting was called but too little too late!!!  Oh dear they say revenge is best served cold but in this case they have chucked the GDS scammers straight on the barbie!!  

I will try and hide my smug delight but when you act like crooks everyone gets what they deserve!!!

Thank you the Sydney office and your team for joining in on the mass senior staff walkout (tempted to throw in a walkabout pun there but left it)

So what happened then, is the Sydney office still operational?

And what is was the 'mass senior staff walkout' in aid of? - was it only Sydney staff or was it across the board? I'm just amazed it's taken this long for a walk-out!

What happened? I spoke to someone from that office recently and I know the office has shrunk dramatically, but this is a development that is copletly from left field.

I will hold off commenting until I hear who has left, if it is the rats that have bailed frrom the sinking ship it is a chance for GDS to implement some real reform by hiring an external leadership team and head in a new direction, if it is tthe good people that have left then I wish them good luck!

Ty and his crew.  I notice its gone a bit quiet on the pro GDS front.

The entire office? Everyone bailed out, that seems incredible????! Man, Mr Green personally bankrolled that office setup I don't think he got his return on investment back on it.

Ty did pull the trigger on me, but I stil thaught that he was an OK bloke, and same goes for the HR bloke (even if he was incredably slick and imoral when it came to selling), his GM however is someone I just could never stomach, a typical GDSer...I won't name names because it is neither fair, professional or curtious to do so on a public forum regardless of what I think of the man.

The news from Sydney is hilarious! Looks like it is one of the few times GDS have been shafted. Wonder how it feels to have the boot on the other foot!!

GDS have built themselvesup by milking young enthusiastic kids for all their worth and then spitting them out when it suits them. It makes me laugh when people talk about the "HR people" at GDS. HR depts in most companies look after staff, deal with staff issues etc. HR at GDS do nothing but keep the conveyor belt of poor lambs to the slaughter moving, they do not get involved with anything else - they are not there to offer advice, you certainly never see them when the firing happens.

But that just says it all about this company. It is not a proper company, everything that good, decent companies have (sick pay, HR support, pension, notice period) has been stripped out. All that exists is a machine that has generally decent people bringing in cash on promises based on lies. There is nothing else, foot soldiers bringing in cash, living in fear of being bullied by Spencer's special ones (or in the girls cases, like me, being hit on by Spencer's special ones) The special one's live in fear of Spencer taking a dislike to them and being turfed on their ass. At the head sits Spencer, intimidating, pushing and loving it. He loves keeping people on edge, he loves the fear. So they stab each other in the back to keep in his favour. It is the closest thing I have seen to a Nazi regime without going back to wartime Germany.

I know for a fact they hate this blog and the other similar blogs. I have been out of the company for nearly 2 years (manged to hide my time in sales at GDS on my CV, warning!! GDS is CV suicide) but kept in contact with some of the people. One of them was quite proud and loved telling me they were running 'Bots' 24/7 in an attempt to hide the fact that GDS SCAM was top of Google search. They have/had a team basically only writing stories with the key words GDS SCAM to try hide this site. If you look through the links when you search GDS SCAM you'll nonsense stories that mean nothing but I am guessing they were written by them. All helping to hide the truth! It makes me laugh to see Spencers personal blog about his quest to run the marathon. It's simply another attempt to game Google, shame he is passing it off as a charity cause, pretty shameful actually. It all part of a new PR assault I guess.

I know the mags are gone, I never worked on the events so I can't comment on this -  maybe it's a new leaf but I'd be very surprised. They made up circulation numbers on the mags, made up website stats (apprantly by "buying hits, no idea how you buy hits but there you go) made up partners so who knows what they can make up. But we'll see.

Not had input in a while, but have been watching on the sidelines.  I will say that I would not worry about GDS and their attempts to manipulate Google, as 800notes have an arsenal of respected kudos from all over the globe.

GDS on the other hand have only their own sites to promote them, and considering the amount of domains we have watched expire without renewal its evident that they really have no idea as to the damage that could be done.

Thankfully no-one has figured it out, and clearly the people running the systems over at GDS have little common sense, perhaps this post will help them figure out what damage they are doing, as it appears many of my suggestions get implemented.

I see that Glenn must have really pissed off Spencer, as they appear to be both targeting the same Demographic under the same CIO Banner, pretty petty really.
