I got a call from this number and when I answered, they said my computer IP address was sending out signals blocking their network. I said, "Oh, no! Give me your IP address so I can check that." Then they then hung up.

Window Scare is right.

I have had numerous calls from this number.. only with me? They never answer.. glad I read what you all wrote .. SCAM ARTISTS.. IS THAT THE BEST WAY THEY CAN FIND TO SPEND THEIR TIME.. ? RUINING OTHER PEOPLE'S WORLDS? TSK TSK. SHAME ON THEM!

I just received a call like you mentioned.  The guy, definitely middle eastern got belligerent when I told him i was calling the police.

These people must have my number on speed dial as they call at least 5-7 times a week for the past several months.  Always people with heavy accents.  When I ask which computer and what operating system they are calling about they can tell me only that my computer is sending error messages to them.  Total B. S.  I know enough about computers to know they do not send out random messages and if Microsoft was calling they would not tell me a lot of things I know are not true.  These people are pure scammers and simply won't take no for an answer.  Just hang up on them, or as I did, tell them you are calling the FBI and they will hang up on you.  Please do not give them any of your personal information...

This fake Windows Service Center, likely based  in India or Pakistan, calls at least every couple weeks, warning of catastrophic events on various PCs--they use a bank of numbers, so it is hard to block all call center calls.  They actually had the gall to call on Thanksgiving last year and when they were informed of this fact, the caller claimed " I know its a holiday and your PC is sending out serious error messages." They do try to target older households in middle-class areas, hoping that they can victimize users with little to no knowledge of the scam or of normal operating system design.

My usual response, if I bother to answer at al,  is either "get a real job" or "you all are crooks and deserve to be in jail," with an occasional expletive thrown in.

Just got a call from this number... "Ma'am, your computer is infected. You need to act quickly to save the remaining files..." Dumb [***].

Got a call from (213) 221-3528 Windows Care!  They told me that I had put in a service call for my pc at home and that he was going to help me!  To turn my computer on and he was going to guide me!  He hung up at me when I told him I did not have a computer!  

I got a call from the same number:  213-221-3528; in fact, they have called me multiple times over the past week or so.  My niece took a call from one of these idiots when they tried to call her grandmother to gain access to her computer...  And people wonder why I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number... Smh!!!

Got a call from this number for the second time. Guy from Windows Care claimed my computer was infected and needs service. Obvious scam so I told him there was no problem. He tried to convince me but finally hung up. Noted his number and will have it blocked.

I just got a call from this number. I told the man I wasn't interested and to please take me off his list. He proceeded to verbally badger me," why you do not want to know about something is wrong with your computer?" I repeated my request, without the please. He said, "you order me to take you off, if you request it, I do it, but you not order me." I told him it's the law that he needed to honor my request. His response, "[***] off, lady."

I got a call from these people today. They told me they were calling from "Windows" I told me to take me off there call list and he started to get an attitude. I told him to not get an attitude with me and to never call me again.

this sleazy company out of India keeps calling with a variety of call back numbers.  They either claim to be from Windows or the IRS.  I recognize the callers voice.  We have had many ugly but sorta stimulating fun exchanges that finally ended with him suggesting I  do something unnatural with myself.  So got another call from them today.

Received call from "computer care" advising me that I had computer problems. Wanted to help me etc. etc.

Caller ID: Unknown Name 213-221-3528. I answered, guy said he's calling about my computer. I told him "I don't think so" and he hung up.

Got call from 2132213528 and the man was abusive.

They are probably some bunch of crooks ,,,,, well known as scammers ,,computers never sends out any error messages ,,,,, ! ,
